We purchased the club smart guard plan for our car over 3 years for Ā£650 as the salesman said they will repair any scuffs on wheels and dents scratches on the bodywork etc . We were unaware that we would have to pay a contribution per wheel if we claimed and on any bodywork damage! We had a dent on our door from a car park and tried to claim. They asked for pictures which we sent over and I have attached to this review, they said sorry but the dent is over 3mm deep. I have shown that it isn’t 3mm deep as it isn’t deeper that a pound coin as the pound coin is only 2.8mm thick and is under the 30cm in length terms also . So please do not take this cover out as it isn’t worth the paper it is written on. I have written a complaint and haven’t heard back, I will be contacting the ombudsman next. Very poor and it has put me off purchasing another car from them!

Funny how you reply to this review but not my emails regarding the matter ! Very poor customer service, the issue is it should be repaired under the terms and conditions as it’s under 3mm in depth and under 30cm long, so your not complying with your own terms and conditions!!!!

UPDATE
The Motor ombudsman has been looking into my claim and has agreed that the clubsmart company haven’t fulfilled there agreement and said they need to repair my car, it has now been booked in for repair, many thanks to the motor ombudsman

I made a complaint about Nottingham Mercedes and someone from Inchcape made contact with me to ā€˜help’ me revolve the issue. There was a lady named Sharon Millican and her manager Emma Walker. They did nothing to help. Emma was suppose to send me a final email so I could give this to the ombudsman but she didn’t. Thankfully another Mercedes branch took my complaint seriously and resolved the issue and I am forever grateful for that.

Bought a brand new A3. After a year of ownership all was going well and happy with everything until yesterday when the car wouldn’t start. Called Audi Assist and was told help would be with me within 2 hours. Luckily the car had broke down not far from my house so I left the car and went home. 1:40 minutes later Audi Assist/AA arrived. After running tests he found ā€œloads of updates neededā€ some of which he couldn’t do road side but managed to get the car started. I was told the fault will re appear be it today or in a weeks time so it would need to go to the local dealership. Inchcape Hyde. I waited for Audi Assist to call to say they had the report and to take it to the dealership but after 2 hours hadn’t heard anything so I took it to the dealership along with the paper report the AA/Audi Assist had left me. I was told I couldn’t have a courtesy car as that was down to Audi Assist to arrange. Audi Assist finally called whilst I was walking home from the dealership (no offer of a lift) to tell me to take it to the garage. Explained I’d just dropped it off and could they arrange a courtesy car for me as by this time I’d already had to take a days leave from work. They told me it was the dealership (Inchcape Hyde) that needs to arrange it. Explained they had told me otherwise to be told it’s Inchape that needs to arrange it and they hung up. Backwards and forwards no manger available in the whole dealership to speak with and the day after I still have no car. Last update from Inchcape Hyde is they have been told the AA fixed the car and I’ve chosen to leave the car with the dealership so not entitled to a car. This is despite the fact the car is on the forecourt with a report that states the car needs various updates and is only temporarily fixed. My advise to other Audi owners. If your car breaks insist it is taken to the dealership and refuse to take the car back. If you don’t it’s your fault for choosing to take your car to the dealership and therefore any help and service that is advertised when you buy the car doesn’t exist.

If I could give less stars I would. Bought my car through bravo auto and this is who they said I needed to contact to get information regarding proof that my vehicle wasn’t sold faulty. they didn’t give me any proof that the cars gearbox passed the tests and refused to help me with the bill even though the warranty only covers a part of the price to get a new gearbox. I’ve had the car less than a year and these people refuse to help me. Absolutely disgusting do not buy from bravo auto , do not deal with these people. Joke!

Purchased a car from Bravo auto that cost me over a thousand pounds to get through its first MOT . So called worry free twelve month comprehensive Warranty covered none of faults on car .
Not interested in any concerns raised by myself , just deliberate miss representation of warranty cover by all
concerned . The company should be avoided at all costs .

Feel scammed by Inchcape Chester and would warn others!

They advised me to pay a £150 fee to diagnose a faulty DRL in a headlight on my 2018 F-Type so they could raise a support request with JLR Head Office.

They assured me it would be refunded once support was granted.

JLR rejected support and then Inchcape Chester refused to refund the £150.

It's a real scam and I would warn others in using this garage.
