Stayed overnight as visiting a local garage the following day so location was good. It was inexpensive & did what we wanted. We did think Ibis hotels were better than this one as the room was basic, no pictures on the walls. Carpet & walls marked & stained. Bathroom was clean with soft bath sheets, no hand towels. Shower pressure was weak. We had a lot of road noise & could hear snoring from the room next to ours. I slept well as beds were very comfortable. Breakfast had all you needed. Staff were pleasant.

Somewhat tired decor which is compensated by low cost and great location. Rooms are OK and do their job. Staff are helpful. Parking useful. I've stayed there a number of times and always go back because of the price.

It met our needs, was affordable and quiet hotel. Cups and towels changed only once while we stayed there. Showered once and it was changing itself from scalding to cold the whole time. I would stay again as it's close to town and was affordable and staff are really polite and accommodating. There was also no air conditioning it was very warm during the night even though it was late March. No pedestrian crossing outside the hotel on very busy round about.

Second time stopping here, reasonably priced. Staff friendly and very helpful. Room clean and provided everything we needed upon arrival. Let us store our luggage after checkout for a couple of hours before our train was due. Would recommend to friends

It's a basic hotel. If you accept that before you book then you'll love it, does just what it's supposed to do, which is provide cheap, comfortable, warm basic rooms. It's not the Ritz, which is reflected in the price. Plenty of parking in the hotels two parking areas. Roads around the hotel are busy but very safe to cross if you use a bit of common sense. Limited drinks at the bar, but again, to be expected at a budget hotel. All staff were friendly, easy check in and check out, not the place for a romantic break but ideal as a cheap base for a night or two.

Hotel was well placed and conveniently located. Staff friendly.
Unfortunately the room was very run down. Marks and stains everywhere. Carpets, dirty, curtains stained. Shower had cracks that have been poorly filled. Wall marked with stains and skirtingboards filfy. Shame as past stays have been clean and functional.

Without getting into too much details I had a very personal situation and Ibis have been exceptionally helpful and understanding when they didn’t have to be! It has been really comforting and good to know that service is not dead and that people are still helpful and kind in the world!

Very welcoming reception staff. Room clean and comfortable. Unfortunately on this occasion I had no hot water in my room, so a very quick freezing shower!. Good location and free parking.
