Used to be really good pharmacist now you can't even your prescriptions in time. it took me 3 attempts last month to get my prescription just kept saying come back it's not ready to the point I ran out that month. This month I phone up on the Friday to confirm that would be ready on the Monday and they said yes I've turned up and it's not ready they said come back again they asked me where do I need it by I put in prescriptions not because I'm bored because I need them doctors prescribed medication because you need them asking when do you need and by is a bit of a stupid question if you are prescribed a medication you should be able to get it before you think I'm putting in prescription and turning up next day I'm not I put in a prescription on a Monday and collect it the following Monday normally now it's taking nearly two weeks to sort out medication. Ironically I can't book two weeks before my medication runs out because it's not due in time so I just have to keep taking the risk of nearly running out or running out

I just chopped a flap off my finger doing a delivery, and called in as this pharmacy was the closet place and it was bleeding badly. The new pharmacist was so helpful. Despite being run off his feet with Christmas queues, he rescued me, cleaned and bandaged the finger and was so kind, when it was the last thing he needed to be doing. A real Christmas life saver! Thank you!

I went to find out whether this pharmacy had simple urine testing kits for infection. With a completely straight face I was told that they are not available without a doctor's prescription
I explained that just a week ago I had been able to buy a 3-pack testing kit from different pharmacy. The straight face stayed unmoved.
If the Coop have some sort of rule about this and this had been explained to me I might have queried it but would readily accept the company decision
But to told they aren't available without a prescription was wholly misleading - and just plain wrong.
I suggest some extre training for staff would not go amiss.
As a Postscript to my visit I later looked on the Internet and found plenty of sources that did not demand a subscription. Others less confident than me might have been waiting over the Bank Holiday before attempting to contact their GP.

I had a problem but it was dealt with by the owner in a very polite and professional manner I couldn't recommend this chemist enough as it's right next door to the Dr's surgery with friendly and professional staff

Always willing to help with any medical problem. Always check that you understand the way you take your medicines are often better than the GP. Seem to know more. Always serve you with a smile. Staff go out of their way to help you. Thank you for all of your help over the years.
