Thankyou so much to the optometrist at Hunstanton Eye Care who fixed my glasses today after Boots (who I purchased from) totally blanked me and refused to help. The fix took a couple of minutes and now my glasses are good as new.

Wow I am in shock at the way this optician deals with its customers. As a potential new client I booked an eye test about six weeks ago, I was happy to wait for an appointment when I made my intial phone, particularly as I wanted to support a local establishment , as opposed to a more national chain. However today, being the day of my long awaited appointment, I received a call to say the optician was unwell, which I appreciate these things happen. What followed, I was offered an appointment in another 3 to 4 weeks, to much I said I have already waited 6 weeks and felt I really now needed an eye test, could you find me something sooner. I was told what do you want me to do, so I suggested maybe move another clients appointment back, well I was told we cannot do that, but I said you have just done that with me. The response was to say thank you and the phone was put down on me, absolutely disgusting customer manners. The individual concerned should not be let loose on customers with that kind of attitude, at all stages of the conversation I was polite , with a tone of disappointment, so there can be knew the usually excuse of customers been subject to abuse! Ok, if this firm cannot manage it’s level of customers then please don’t waste potential new customers time and just say the client list is closed, dentist practices do it.

The up shot is best avoid this opticians, and the well advitised slogan should have come to Specsavers applies, which is were I ended up. They were absolutely fantastic and oddly enough managed to fit me in the same day, I was intended to visit this firm. You try to support the locally based businesses, and what do you get, you have read this so you know

Friendly and professional service. I broke my glasses whilst on holiday, they were repaired promptly and efficiently, with no fuss. Should it happen again, they will definitely be my first port of call. Excellent.

Absolutely rubbish gone down hill since parker and leach had it short eye test then it was the wrong prescription cost me a lot of money because I am pensioner had new glasses made somewhere else by there prescription went back to them they said it was out of their hands definitely don't recommend
