This is a fantastic asset to Hornsea. Really interesting to walk round even as a local who has visited before I had a visit this last year and realised you soon forget and with new additions it’s certainly worth a trip!
The gift shop which is free to enter has some brilliant items in it for both adults and children and is also a great source of local info from leaflets of local attractions to maps and bus time tables!
Always worth checking out their local events which are usually brilliant including the ceramics festival, May Day event and beer festival

Just decided to pop in for a quick look whilst passing and boy am I glad I did.
It only cost £6 to get in and got a full rundown of the place from one of the amazingly friendly volunteers.
There is so much to see and it is so well presented and preserved. I could not believe they could cram so many things in there. The history is so interesting too. This place is a real MUST SEE!

Unexpected gem in the centre of Hornsea telling the story of the town with an excellent Hornsea Pottery Exhibition. Not much to look at from the outside but it opens up with some superb displays in authentic settings inside and out with surprises around each corner. Freindly volunteers, brilliant visit.

my first visit In the museum was last week. Was pleasantly surprised how big it is, so many Interesting things to see, it looks small from the outside, but it's like a Tardis. I will go back with the grandkids. Its brilliant, well done all involved

This place is a little gem of a place that I bet a lot of people just walk past but let me tell you this is one place in hornsea that is really worth a visit. If you like thing of a bygone era that have ben kept in tip top condition and you like how communities worked well you will love it here. Some of the rooms have audio description.it was a simpler life back then and I think we tend to forget our heritage. The entrance fee is very cheap and the ticket last you all season so you can come and go as many times as you wish. There is a play area for the kids in the garden and don't let this building fool you as it's like a tardis,far more going on inside than the fascade would have you think. Truly worth a visit

What a lovely museum. Found it by chance. Kids enjoyed finding the hidden mice and dressing up. Well worth a visit
