Brilliant and peaceful beach on a wonderful Norfolk coast and next to Haven where we stayed it's a laid out sandy beach with a few pebbles and is protected by rock groynes not much room at high tide but plenty at low the coastal path is amazing you get so much scenery from the cliffs and see for miles out to the North sea and Yarmouth wind farm I visited this beach twice while I was here on Monday and last Friday and had a long paddle in the sea and chilled on the beach and walked along the coast the sun was shining every day

Secluded beach mostly used by visitors staying at the Hopton Haven Holiday Park, which gives them direct access to the beach. It's not as vast as say Great Yarmouth or Gorleston on Sea beaches, which are both a few miles up the road, but it's lovely if you just want to get some nice yellow sand between your toes and feel the water etc. My wife and son did go for a dip last summer (2023), and they really enjoyed it. It doesn't get too busy, and you can walk along the beach but do mind the huge bolders (to stop erosion of the coastline along these parts). There are stairs down to the beach but watch it can slippery when wet. Also, I don't think it has wheelchair access, if it does, it might be tricky to navigate. Do your homework. Yarmouth and Gorleston beaches would be better for those with disabilities.

It's still a lovely little beach to enjoy. There are no lifeguards, nor any public restrooms. You will need to come prepared and do your business in your holiday home on the Haven site.

I think it's dog-friendly as well, but it's best to check with Haven Holiday Park if planning a visit.

The best time to visit is in the summer, though we also visited during October half-term (2024) and found the weather too unpredictable but still enjoyed a scroll on the beach. I will try and find photos from summer 2023 to upload.

Lovely little beach, currently their is work going on moving the boulder to protect the cliff edge but their a couple of spots to have fun with the family during low tide. Be careful not to get caught during high tide as the water comes in quickly and we found a few people having to climb in the evenings.

Lovely little beach and very quiet. Its quite rocky in places and very big stairs to get down to the beach so take that into consideration. Beautiful place that I would visit again.
