Tried to return a coffee table to lakeside homesense. However because the manager didn’t want to she pretended and made us go through various steps to get us out her hair. We called customer services as advised and even they were terrible. Once we had a customer reference number we came back and her whole tone and body language changed. No longer helpful and nasty. She wouldnt accept the table because it went down from £199 to £180 and had some chips which is exactly how we bought it. Said it was clearance and e should have been told by the store in Stevanage. Who were another bunch of idiots!! We even tried to exchange the product for another coffee table that suited our new sofas better that was a no to.

So moral of the story is be careful what you buy if it’s not perfect despite them selling it that way they won’t have it back. Make sure you have them write in the receipt that it can be returned. ? Of course they are making up rules as they go… That manager was so horrible. Blonde hair strange teeth unhelpful attitude! madame was more worried about how she will sell the product then keep her word or abide by policy! Full on joke.
