I visited on a Sunday, according to their website they are open on a Sunday. It was a great disappointment to arrive and find that actually only the cafe (£35 for full English breakfast), a specialist card collector shop and an ornate glass shop, were the only establishments open. All other stores appear to be closed every Sunday and it's a great shame the website didn't make that clear.

Most of the shops were closed on our visit, we had a birthday party for my grandson where they built Lego which was surprisingly very good, after that we moved to the cafe for the kids food, the inside was dated, unclean and in need of repair.
The toilets in the craft village was a bit rough and was also in need of a good clean and refurb

Very disappointed visit, I have wanted to come and see this village for awhile and while I know a lot of the shops were closed on a Sunday it did make the place look sad!! That wasn’t our issue though, it was the cafe that was awful!! I bought the dog sausage that was £3 and all it was, was one sausage cut up in a plastic box…for another £3 we could have had a kids meal with chips and beans! The woman (tall, broad, blonde lady) that bought it out couldn’t care less and if she worked for me I would have been having serious words about her customer service. Our lunch arrived and my husbands jacket potato was cold and me and my mums eggs were pretty much boiled and poached eggs should be runny. The eggs Benedict came out with cooked ham/bacon, which either way is wrong as it should be uncooked ham!! The worse part was the lovely waitress a red hair young lady who kept having to deal with the issues and no doubt was getting a chef being rude and argumentative (I used to waitress so I know what they were like) and even when we said we weren’t willing to pay for it all she was the one who had to go and sort it out and try and answer questions that she didn’t know. I own my own company and either myself or a manager would have taken over this situation at this point and not leave it to a poor young waitress, so that’s not acceptable. Shame as we had been looking forward to it but won’t be recommending it to friends or customers!

I just wanted to say how much we love this village; so many community events that they run for the children in particular which are always so well organised and friendly, as well as being incredibly reasonably priced, if not free. We went to the Christmas Fayre today and the visit to Santa was one of the best I've done with the children, they adored it. Lovely live music and such a welcome from all the businesses there.
This place is an absolute gem in our community, thank you Holme Grange!

Great range of shops run by small traders. Also a great cafe where, amongst other things, you can have a £35 Mega breakfast- 5 sausages etc etc

A fun little trip out with everything in a hands reach, I wish it was just that bit bigger or had room to grow bigger and hold events. It is an essential part of the countryside, with amazing food and great service.

The fry up was £9-£9.50 and coffee around £2.60. Have I not mentioned they do quality hot chocolate? As well as the adult boozy version?! I was pleasantly surprised and very happy with my latest visit.
