I visited Holly Lodge Guest House as an early 21st birthday present with my boyfriend and it was amazing. The woman who greeted us was so kind and helpful and recommended a great walk for us to do and let us drop our bags off before we checked in.

You pre order breakfast the night before, it was delicious and is served quickly. Also lots of different options eg full English and salmon bagel. The staff at breakfast were also lovely!

The room was beautiful and came with everything we needed, and they even decorated for my birthday 🙂 The spa was also really nice and easy to get to. As for the area it is great and easy to get around even without a car. Would definitely recommend!

On arrivam, we were told that we had been upgraded(bonus!). The room was spacious clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfy as were the pillows and quilt. Bathroom clean and fresh. There was tea, coffe, fresh water and snacks available in the room. |The hall and sitting area was very welcoming and again lovely decorated.|The staff were very friendly in particular the live in staff!|Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice that needed to be pre-ordered. |Windermere is beautiful and will for sure visit again, it will be Holly Lodge that we will be staying :)|Thank you P & D Jones

Myself and my partner booked 2 nights at Holly Lodge and booked directly through their website (giving us discount!). |It was absolutely perfect. ||We had great communication from Bonnie before we arrived and really useful information on the local area, including where to walk/paddle board etc. ||We were told we’d received an upgrade on our room before we arrived which was a great surprise.|A really easy self check-in system to then find our beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and tidy room with great tea/coffee/biscuits and facilities.||Breakfast ordering is simple and the staff we met could not have been any more accommodating and welcoming. |Kirsty and Barbara were really friendly and couldn’t have done enough for us. |Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options. ||Holly lodge is in a great location and very accessible to pubs/restaurants/walks. ||Thank you for a wonderful stay, we have already spread the word of your little gem of a B&B!

Check in was easy and we were greeted at the door. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Tea and coffee station was topper up every day and clean cups were replaced. The staff were super friendly, the breakfast was delicious every morning. I had paid for the birthday package which was great, balloons and banners were decorating the room and a homemade birthday cake was left in the room for our arrival. Highly recommend and we will be back 🙂

What a lovely place, it is sparklingy clean everywhere, our room was beautiful, I had mentioned when booking that it was my part of my husbands birthday celebrations & the room had been decorated. The breakfast was gorgeous, choose what you would like the night before & the staff are very friendly. I think it in a really good place, close to shops etc & it was about a 25 minute walk down to Bowness, could easily get a bus back up if need be. We would definitely go back if we are staying in Windermere again.

What an amazing place. Couldn't have asked for better service. So friendly, making it homely. |Great position, too. It is convenient for absolutely everything. Free access for a swim and sauna, etc. is worth using. We visited both days. |Ate at the Italian on night, sitting outside on a lovely evening. 2nd night, we used the tapas bar. Both are worth a visit. 🥰

We stayed at Holly Lodge guest house for three days and we all had a lovely time.|The position of Holly Lodge is perfect for exploring and the added bonus is to be so near the bus station. We were able to park up at the guest house and use the local buses for our stay which are brilliant and I recommend going to Buttermere, it is beautiful!|Staying at Holly Lodge is so relaxing and I'm sure this is from being looked after so well by Kirsty and her daughter who are a credit to the place.|The breakfast was lovely and while we were there we used the downstairs sitting area on a evening to relax.|A big thank you to everyone for looking after us so well from all of us x

Really enjoyed staying at Holly Lodge for the Easter weekend. The rail station and main restaurants are very close to the accommodation. Bowness is 15 mins walk or you can take a bus alternatively. Thanks Holly Longe for the welcoming stay!
