As a local Norfolk photographer I've I have the pleasure of working at Hockwold Hall which nestles the Norfolk/Suffolk border.

The grounds are spectacular, featuring manicured gardens, expansive lawns that provide stunning photo opportunities.

The Hockwold Hall's staff is dedicated and attentive. Always professional, they ensure couples and vendors have everything needed for a seamless event.

With its stunning scenery it's one of my favourite venues for outdoor ceremonies and with on site accommodation it makes things easy for the couple to relax. I would recommend it to any couple seeking a beautiful, well-managed wedding venue—a true gem in East Anglia.

We had the most fantastic wedding from start to finish! The venue is absolutely stunning! The Hockwold Team are incredible & go above and beyond to make your dream wedding come true! The day also felt very relaxed and not too strict with timings.

Everyone said how comfortable the beds were, how yummy the food was! We went for the carvery super tasty! And how cool it was having the animals to see! Awesome dance floor and games room and of course how beautiful the venue is!

We plan to book a viewing each year so we can reminisce on our special day ❤️

Having recently worked here as a bridal H&MUA I can confirm that this venue is absolutely stunning! We had a lovely morning getting ready in the beautiful bridal area - the lighting and set up is perfect for those all important getting ready photos. An all round incredible venue!

Hosting our wedding day at Hockwold Hall was brilliant. The venue is stunning and the grounds are big enough to host easily over 200 people. There day flowed well and the staff were fantastic and helpful throughout. They will do what they can to assist you. They were all so friendly and a special thank you to Allison for answering so many questions.

Recently I was lucky enough to photograph a wedding at Hockwold Hall. It’s hard to imagine a nicer venue for a wedding and it is up there with the best I have photographed at. The grounds are beautiful especially the ceremony area and gardens in general. The fact that wedding parties have exclusive use of the venue is a huge bonus and adds to making any wedding as relaxing and stress free as possible. The staff were all attentive and lovely especially the owners (who were both on site throughout) and the two wedding co-ordinators. To me it felt like the wedding you were at was their most important booking that year and nothing was too much trouble. I’m looking forward to heading back there soon….oh and the petting zoo is a genius move.

We visited the hall for a friends wedding and thought it was fantastic.
The house and grounds are lovely. They had the wedding in the grounds at a purpose built pavilion which was great.
They have a huge tent for the reception and you get to enjoy all the grounds at your leisure. Plenty of animals to see and secret parts of the garden to explore.

The house itself is lovely and the basement is very cool.

Would recommend if you’re trying to avoid all these other pretentious venues.

What an amazing venue and team to go with it. Hockwold Hall was the first and last venue we visited as we booked it right away!! The venue is even more stunning in real life; we got married outside and our guests were complimentary about the venue and the staff throughout. It is essentially a blank canvas decoration wise, but the grounds are so stunning, it wouldn’t look plain if heavy decor isn’t your thing! We will be spreading the word about this venue far and wide, because it currently feels like Norfolk’s best kept secret!! I can’t quite put into words how amazing this venue is. Richard, Allison, Anna and all the team were truly incredible and we cannot thank them enough for helping us have such a perfect day. Thank you so much to Richard and the team for a truly unforgettable Wedding day! 💕
