Great selection of food, ( not many vegetarian options). Very dog friendly which was lovely, staff all friendly and very welcoming. Everything was lovely but toilet's do need a good clean.

Second time: Unfortunately had a problem with an order where the pie served was not the pie on the board. Lucky that there were no problematic allergens involved. Not a great experience as a result, but they did apologise and offer a suitable solution to the issue. Other meal was good, reasonable wait time. Clearly very busy. Food is probably a few quid more with the new menu, expect to pay £15-20 per person for a light lunch/lunch.

First time: Went here for breakfast, had the big farmer's breakfast. Was very enjoyable; each of the ingredients was good quality and taste. Prices have gone up a bit recently but I suppose that's just a sign of the times. Only took a few minutes to have our orders taken and maybe about 10 minutes before we got our food. think the place is dog-friendly as there were some dogs in there. Would definitely go back.

What a fabulous dog friendly venue. Greeted with smiles and quick service, we chose to sit outside. I loved the crockery and the service was quick. Hash browns were immense and super crispy. Even the pooch got a treat!
Absolutely recommend the apple juice.

We called today for breakfast, we are not local and it was out first visit. Unfortunately we were not impressed. It was very busy (which is a good sign) however we were shown to a table then left without a menu (I had to ask for a menu). We ordered 2 coffees and 2 sausage baps. The baps arrived without cutlery or serviettes being offered (I has to ask for these at the counter). The sausage on one sandwich was burnt to a crisp. We had to complain and one additional link of sausage was brought to table, butter was put on the bread without asking us. The cost was £15.00 which we thought was expensive for what we had and the level of service delivered. The coffee was lovely. All in all the food was nothing special. It was nice to see the animals. Toilets are available. Dogs are allowed inside. Unfortunately will not rush back.

Wonderful food, I had the pie and I can officially say it was the best pie i have ever eaten, the stake was so tender. My mum and grandma had the prawns and crayfish and both agreed that it was beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Really lovely farm shop as well.

Lovely set up. Went for breakfast, but they struggled with service, resulting in a very long wait, which we weren't informed about and cold food when delivered.
Would visit the farm and shop again but not to eat in the cafe.

We followed brown signs from the main road and we so pleased we did. The cakes look amazing, but we were sensible and had prwn and crab sandwiches, which were laden with filling, and came with delicious homemade coleslaw. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

We found Hirst Farm cafe by chance, and to say its a little gem is an understatement.
On Saturday we went on what appeared to be a busy service and may I say this didn't alter staff service, or food quality. The experience was so good we went back today.
My word the Saturday experience was not a fluke, the special of the steak pie was AMAZING and my seafood sandwich was absolutely delicious.
I wish I lived closer or I could pick up this location and take it home with me.
