Very nice Scottish lady (Morag) served us.
Only a couple of tables, but we managed to get one.
Lacks in choice for those with dietary requirements.
We bought some lovely vegetables.
Revisited today, 2nd July.
Sadly, there are still no treats for this with dietary restrictions. It does not affect me but means I can not visit with my son. So on those occasions have to visit elsewhere.
There was a friendly gentleman serving today, and some nice chat amongst customers.
I do find it relaxing here.
Besides drinks and cakes, there is ice cream, milk, a butcher counter, fresh fruit and vegetables, and much more.
Parking is a bit tricky, I walked, but it's a problem in the whole of the village.

What a delightful little shop. We visited on a whim but we’re glad we did.

The shop was easy to find, and there are parking bays outside the shop and all down the street.

We were warmly greeted when we entered, and the person who served us was happy, friendly, and helpful.

Despite initially popping in to grab some milk, we ended up getting a lot more.

We’ve picked up some great items today, but of note, I ended up buying the succulent looking strawberries after eying them up when queuing. The sweetest strawberries I’ve ever had.

The second thing of note, was the sausage rolls. I love sausage rolls. As I’ve got older, I only have them as a treat, if they look a bit special. My mouth was watering when I first saw them. The taste didn’t disappoint. I’d definitely rate them in my top 3(this list includes some very nice homemade ones an ex employee used to make)If I wasn’t watching my weight, I’d be back tomorrow for another one.

Definitely will be back.

What a beautiful shop. Sells fresh meats and also vegetarian section . Cakes and the best coffee i have ever tried. Will definitely recommend this beautiful shop to anyone who enjoys a good coffee. The staff are so friendly. Will definitely be coming back

Wonderful for a sit down tea and nibbles. Great farm shop food, especially the veg and meat. The team running it are amazingly helpful and conscientious to customers.

I have had coffee and cake several times in the cafe and prior to ordering asked if I could sit down with my dog, staff advised as long as my dog was on a lead and sat down with me there was no problem, on one occasion there was another dog in there while the owner had a coffee.
Saturday, stood at the till and ordered a coffee, rude, off hand member of staff advised only guide dogs are permitted in the shop and I would have to wait outside, waited for a considerable time outside no-one appeared with a coffee or even to check I was there.
Has the policy changed regarding dogs in the cafe and is this a recent change?

Friendly staff great service and great food from the Shriv High st store. I had the best steak ever today. Rebecca cut me 3 pieces of sirloin and they were mouth watering. Chili and paprika sausages are a must too.
So happy they are literally a stones throw from me. All kinds of farm produce available including serve yourself milk. Brilliant shop.
