The people are at times rude and unfriendly. They charge whatever they want to on unpriced items, and charge a LOT more than any other local shop. A 'get their money' attitude- very off putting defo no longer use. If you mention something they'll get very rude . Terrible business attitude towards customers.

This store displayed racial bias during my visit. While searching for biscuits, the shopkeeper consistently gave me uncomfortable looks upon my entrance. When I approached the front desk to pay and placed my right hand in my jacket pocket, the shopkeeper managing the desk began touching my pocket, expressing doubts. Reassuring him, I stated, "I don't steal. I'm black and Muslim, and stealing goes against my beliefs."

In response, he dismissively said, "It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter," to which I insisted that it did matter. Feeling unfairly singled out, I confronted the shopkeeper, highlighting a perceived double standard by stating, "If an Asian or white person came in, you wouldn't accuse them or give them funny looks." Despite enduring verbal abuse, I voluntarily stripped naked to prove my innocence, an action not prompted by the shopkeeper.

This distressing experience, exacerbated by my autism and ADHD, led me to decide against purchasing the biscuits. I left the shop deeply affected by the encounter and the racial bias I had experienced.
