Their concierge team is very responsive and they were also nice enough to allow us to reschedule our trip with one day notice due to our illness. |The place feels very calm and the room is spacious. You can tell a lot of work gone in to the design of the hotel and the rooms. Guest room is definitely enough space for a couple.|There are some minor steps so if you have any issue with stairs. Do let the hotel know so they can arrange the right room for you.|The decor is English charm but with all the modern amenities. |The menu is rather limited but each dish was excellent. |For the Bothy (Spa and the Gym), I do recommend you to book it as it is quite small. However you can always call them to ask if you can pop in. Pls note that you have to lock away your phone when you use the Spa. You can keep your phone for the gym. The gym is one of the best that I had used. |I strongly recommend the walks as they are very interesting. |We went via the Winchfield station. Uber service is pretty poor, wait was 20min and then no Uber when we tried to return. The hotel can easily arrange the taxi.|We had a lovely time and very relaxing.

The second visit to MARLE in 2 weeks. Outstanding restaurant in every way possible. |The place is stunning ..beautiful house..great style..and decoration everwhere..a lot of talent is evident .The staff are just brilliant..so very friendly and entertaining..staff make or break restaurants. |The food is faultless.. Green Michelin Star ..shines through in the quality of the produce..I can't fault anything..and have eaten at dozens of 3 star restaurants in UK and Europe. If you love food and appreciate the skill involved in its presentation..just go.|

Surrounded by 430 acres of rolling countryside, this estate is alive with nature’s rhythm. The organic Home Farm, biodynamic Market Garden, orchards, and dairy sustain not just the table but the spirit of the place itself.
Every corner of the house tells a story—elegant interiors that honor its history while remaining effortlessly warm and welcoming. Its walls, adorned with pieces from the owner's private collection, turn each hallway into a gallery, each room into a quiet masterpiece.
Time slows here, wrapped in beauty, art, and the gentle hum of nature. A celebration we’ll never forget.

The only thing we have to say that they could improve is to add and expand the references of better wines. And also the Hearth restaurant, which has a spectacular grill open to guests, should use the grill more in the dishes on the menu. We were a little disappointed by the lack of fire and smoke in the dishes, especially with the excellent raw products that they have.

We visited Hearth restaurant at Heckfield - What an absolutely fabulous afternoon. The food was outstanding, matched by wonderful knowledgable staff. Lovely atmosphere in the dining area. Highly recommend a visit here and I will definitely be returning. |Particular thanks to Alex, the ops director for superb customer service. Fantastic all round.

We recently visited Heckfield Place and had high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. We called ahead to ask if we could arrive a few hours early to work before our lunch reservation at Marle and we were told this would be fine. However, upon arrival, we were met with a surprisingly frosty reception.

Both my husband and I were separately questioned about our reservation details and reminded repeatedly that access was limited strictly to the space by the restaurant. While we understand policies about access, it would have been helpful if this was communicated clearly when we called. Instead, we felt unwelcome from the moment we arrived.

As for the food at Marle, it was good. Great menu and the food good. However, the quality of the meal wasn’t quite enough to make us forget the uncomfortable start to our visit.

Heckfield Place is undoubtedly beautiful 5* star hotel, but hospitality should match the setting. Sadly, our experience left us feeling more like intruders than valued guests.

Heckfield Place is a perfect example of why the British people do not take their holidays in the UK. There can be no justification, no matter the standard, for charging (or paying) £750 per night. The menu is not particularly interesting; the rooms are excellent, and so they should be; the service is as you would expect. But none of it adds up to £5250 a week, which is sheer greed. I booked a Caribbean winter cruise, 35 nights, today for £3800 all inclusive. I rest my case.

Very good. Attractive interiors with clean and contemporary design but all very sympathetic with the building. Excellent food in both restaurants and a great breakfast. Lovely walks, definitely go exploring. The Bothy spa is excellent, very nice design, very calm, also has a good shop. The gardens and grounds are beautifully maintained. Very comfortable bed and v nice room and bathroom. Difficult to find fault although if I am being picky I would have liked service in the restaurants to be a little more attentive (otherwise service was top notch). We had a fabulous time.
