We really liked the layout of the park and its woodland feel. They’ve tried to model the centre where the swimming and entertainment are on a Center Parcs and this has been done well. ||Kids enjoyed the arcades and the entertainment and the pool was enough to keep them busy for an hour (age 10 and 6). We liked that the pool seemed warm and clean and fairly recently refurbished, although the entrance is very cramped and awkward with everyone trying to remove their shoes on the way in and out. ||We stayed in caravan 66- tucked into a corner under a tree it was a quiet location. However it had not been cleaned thoroughly. Our socks were filthy after walking around on the floors and the living area still smelt of the morning fry up of the previous guests. All the cutlery was in the dishwasher and lots had dried food on. There was hair and dust in the corners of the bathroom floor and we found rubbish in the bathroom and kitchen cupboards. ||We also found the staff (with the exception of one friendly girl on the pool counter) to be abrupt and not particularly friendly or welcoming. This was especially the case at breakfast in the sitting duck- lots of staff doing their best to ignore customers and look annoyed if you bothered them to ask a question. Tables still sticky and dirty from previous diners. Breakfast not great value either. ||We may return as it’s a cheap option for visiting family in Norwich- we will pack the zoflora next time and avoid the restaurant though.

Family of 5, 2 adults, daughters age 12 and 7 and a puppy age 7 months. Went with some friends. Booked gold cabin... And it's worth of for the good lighting, and the space. Our first haven holiday. This place is fab. People are nice, lots to do for kids and not too crazy busy.. The hiring of go carts is a big hit. It's a lovely site with lots of greenery. Evening entertainment wasn't our thing but the other pub (merry mallard) was good... Not busy....
People had issues ordering food in restaurant with wait time.... We cooked and ate in our cabin... We did get a cheeky fish and chips before we headed home on Sunday night.. which was lovely and well priced! Would definitely recommend.

Since I was a little girl I had always gone to Caister, however last year it changed a little. I went with my partner and 2 daughters in June 2023 for 4 days and had the absolute best time. Only downside was the 4g signal. I understand that the trees and woodland get in the way, however my daughters have autism so keeping them occupied was sometimes hard. ||I loved it so much that myself and my partner decided to go again by ourselves for our 2 year anniversary and without realising we chose the same caravan as before!||Next year we are going again! This time for 7 days. We have gone luxury this time round and booked a Diamond Lodge as there is 6 of us. Judging by the photos I am going to enjoy myself as the Diamond Lodge looks HUGE!||Wild Duck is such a quiet tranquil place, and I absolutely love it there. From the little ducks at the duck pond, and the squirrels all over the place its quietness really does do you wonders and takes you away from it all.||The Sitting duck is ok, food could be a bit quicker coming out as when i was there in September we waited nearly half hour for it to be brought to out table and the morning we left, my breakfast came out cold with no butter on my toast (ordered scrambled egg with it)||I tried not to use the onsite shop as it was quiet expensive, but we did get fish and chips delivered on both visits and WOW.... SO GOOD. The fact it was delivered and you could choose your time as well as long as you could get a signal made it even better. ||I cannot wait to go again In july 2025 for what I am sure will be a holiday to remember... even if it is with 4 kids (5 including the boyfriend)

Just spent 4 nights here for our anniversary. What a lovely quaint little site. Our caravan was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and approachable. The entertainment team were so good and very funny. A special mention to Gemma the manager. We enjoyed it so much were booking to go back in June. Top marks all round.

We stayed in Pine 15 over the weekend which was supposedly dog friendly gold accommodation - however I am not convinced it should be dog friendly as it is mainly carpeted which clearly isn’t ideal when multiple dogs have been staying there - we had to go out the first day and buy air freshener as the dog odour was very strong. There was actually a sticker inside the accommodation which said no pets so that was confusing.||It also hadn’t been cleaned that well, under the beds and sofas were still dirty and the previous occupants food was still in the cupboards - so not brilliant.||The carpets were tired and quite frayed in places, some bits had been pulled up so were a trip hazard - inside the main bedroom it had been pulled up and badly put back down so it was lumpy and it had come away near the patio doors.||Other than this, it was nice accommodation - very quiet and secluded and we had a good spot that didn’t particularly overlook anything - we didn’t even need to close the curtains at the side as it literally overlooked inaccessible woodland. ||Our accommodation had a dishwasher and washing machine - so that was useful. ||We did have some activities booked but decided to cancel them as a few people we spoke to who had done them didn’t rate them. We did swimming each day and getting additional slots was easy, just keep checking the app - pool was nice and our kids loved the slide.||We had papa John’s and cooks delivered - both were good and had Sunday lunch at the restaurant which was ok - on par with most pub carveries.||We also stopped for drinks and chips a couple of times, drinks are pretty expensive here so be warned.||We enjoyed the arcades, never too busy and the kids won lots of things.||We didn’t bother with any of the shows as it’s not our thing.||We don’t live far from Wild Duck but just wanted a quick weekend away, we enjoyed it but will probably try another Haven next time as Wild Duck doesn’t have much going on - would be great to use as a base but as we are from the area, we stayed on site the entire time.||We took our dog, lots of nice woodland walks and he enjoyed watching the squirrels and deer fro the patio - no where on site to let him off though as dogs need to be kept on lead at all times.||Might go back if we found a cheap weekend as we enjoyed the Pine Grove area - I don’t think I would want to stay in the other areas though as they were just typical caravans and all quite squished together in places and not as “woodland” as Pine Grove

We have just returned from Wild Duck with our son daughter in law and our grandson First the positives lovely setting and mostly friendly staff| We upgraded to a silver caravan shouldn’t have bothered the caravan hadn’t been cleaned to an acceptable level we found a bowl of left over pasta burnt in the oven and mealworms on the table on the decking! The lady on reception said that they had fallen from a tree!! The fan in the bathroom wasn’t working the blind in the bathroom broke and the broom head came off ! Not great when you have paid over 1000 for the week The shop was under stocked the entertainment dire and loud especially the Alice in wonderland Halloween which was just awful We ate only once in the pub food was ok We wouldn’t return

We went to view the Wild Duck Holiday Park as we were told by friends it was very good. And they were true to their word, what a lovely campsite, the caravans were ẁell spaced out amongst the tree's and the amenities were excellent. We will definitely be booking a week with them next year.

Visited for the first time this weekend with my partner & certainly won’t be the last!…||Having previously experienced Combe haven, hopton, seashore and caister we decided to give somewhere else (near Gt Yarmouth - a personal favourite area of ours) a go.||Arrival was easy, making our way to cygnet close. Really couldn’t fault the quality of accommodation and location.||Had a walk around site in the afternoon to get our bearings, in and out of pine grove which was lovely following by the evening entertainment at the main complex.||Saturday was down to the seafront for a mooch along with a game of badminton in the afternoon at the Marina leisure centre.||We then decided to opt for a takeaway that evening, having jumped on trusted google, we came across Golden Fish, based a couple of miles away.||Can highly recommend if you stay here and fancy a night in. Delivery was prompt at the security hut. Piping hot, not greasy and very good portions. Highly recommend.||A nice swim on Sunday mid afternoon, plenty of room around 3:00pm. Pool is the deepest I’ve experienced at haven which was nice for someone who’s 6’3 lol.||Sunday roasts are reasonably priced and of decent quality… Went down well after a swim anyway!||Check out for us was Sunday evening due to work commitments. Key dropped in post box having discovered this by what’s app service. We asked the question and someone was back to us to advise promptly.||Really enjoyed our time here, already looking to book again for early next year… A great site for all the family.
