We came with our kids for the festive weekend break, we stayed in a gold caravan which was absolutely stunning. Love their haven gold vans! |Not long after we arrived a staff member came round to the caravan to ask if we’d settled in ok and that everything was alright. Which it was, the only very minor issue we had was they’d forget to leave us towels and also not put the heating on so it was cold. But both were easily fixed, so nothing major at all.||The entertainment was fab all weekend, the staff go the extra mile for sure and engage well with the children. ||The grotto was also lovely, Santa was great and the gift was super sweet. ||Food was ok, I didn’t have high expectations anyway for frozen pub grub but it was better than I expected. It is what it is. The best place we ate was the lake house, also the Burger King was good. ||The swimming pool area was clean and tidy, and we always got in a cubicle. No issue there. ||The little funfair area was good, a great little addition.||The whole park was lit up lovely and very Christmassy.||The only real negative was the booking process for the grotto, it was chaos. They only open the slots for an hour each night, and the queues were insane. The process was slow and some people were queueing over an hour, and plenty did miss out on a slot.|We were lucky to get near the front, but many weren’t so lucky. ||All in all, for the money the value was excellent. What they do for the low price they asked is more than worth it, especially when you compare to other alternative options around the UK.

We loved it,meeting up with our daughter and Grandson. The caravan was nice, warm and a great shower.|We loved the swimming pool, so warm and clean. The value of the cost of a festive break, for 4 nights was amazing.|Downside, food outlets deliberately over priced and not necessary, bar and snacks too much, no need to inflate prices. Wetherspoons is a value pub and having that brand on site, great. Cost of a steak, easily £2 more than a high street pub.|Four adult meals in Slim chickens and a child meal, £54.|

We loved the look of the park and the feel of our caravan. The caravan wasn't finished when we arrived, we paid extra to arrive early but the problem was rectified quickly.
The swimming pool was impressive, very warm and clean. The Lakeside staff so, so friendly as were the Security Team.
Food and drinks were over inflated, all the chain names- Papa John's, Burger King etc had 20% on a high street price but the quality was good and fresh.
We'd go back again next year, just what the family needed, Grandparents and Grandchild, Daughter and Son in law.

We have just returned from a 3 night Christmas break at Primrose valley. |We were lucky enough to have been given an upgrade on caravan when we arrived we had originally booked a saver but was upgraded to Ash Grove no.6 which was a silver. |Caravan was very clean on arrival, lovely to have a Christmas tree in the caravan all lit up when we walked in. We cannot fault anything with it.|Entertainment was brilliant for the kids, the entertainment staff really did put on a great show every night. The Aladdin pantomime was amazing my 7 year old loved it. We went swimming for 2 days pool was clean even though it was busy it was too busy plenty of changing rooms, lockers needed 20p to lock them this is slightly different to the other sites we have been to which we £1 so we had to get some change from the life guard, other than that no issues.|We paid to do the reindeer food making that was great for the kids also paid to see Santa, and wow the staff and Santa himself were brilliant, my 7 year old came out saying he was the real one!!! Amusements are good lots of variety. |We would highly recommend a Christmas visit to Primrose valley ⭐️

We've just had a fantastic long weekend at your holiday park for our twin boys birthday.
Wow it was amazing & very magical for the boys. The Christmas lights were lovely & very festive.
Wetherspoons had a great atmosphere too. The caravan was really nice & very clean. The heating was on for our arrival with an added bonus of a lovely sparkling Christmas tree in the caravan. Hope you carry on opening over Christmas. Keep up the good work Haven & see you in 2025

I would like to say that we came for new year qs a family with my nephew who has additional needs, I can not believe how professional and kindness qnd so thoughtful that all the staff from security to entertainment staff was with my family qnd especially with my nephew. I differently recommended this caravan park to any families who has got children with spwcial addiditional needs. The entertainment staff which were amazing wete called Emerson, Tom, Jayden, Brad, Chelsea, Logan, Jack and Joel were incredible with all the children and the enterrainment were amazing as well.

Excellent value for money as we paid £49 for mon-fri break the caravan was of a good standard and clean with very comfortable beds,we did have an issue with maintenance but quickly resolved and we also like the fibre optic tree already lite up when we arrived., the whole park was very clean and well lite with a lovely festive atmosphere and we also felt very secure with the presence of many security staff. The mini market was well stocked and reasonable prices. All park staff were friendly and helpful when we spoke to them.. lovely park and would visit again in the future and maybe take our grandchildren as Haven have put a lot of effort into ensuring that the children can have a fabulous Christmas experiance.

Just back from a 5 day family visit over the new year period. This is a honest review detailing the pros and cons of our visit. ||The caravan - The caravan was modern and big enough for us (4 adults & 2 children using the pullout bed). It had everything we needed to cook, eat and had plenty of storage space and a TV. The only downside to the caravan was it had a very bad smell of wet dog and the carpets were a bit stained. We have had dog friendly caravans before and never experienced this before. ||The entertainment complex - The entertainment was really good throughout the week. There is plenty on and it was different each night. The New Year’s Eve countdown and entertainment was spot on but we did feel sorry for people unable to get in due to the venue being full. ||Food - There is plenty of places to eat and they are all as you would expect (Burger-king, Slim Chicken, papa John’s ). The is also a Wetherspoons onsite doing very reasonably priced food. ||Other facilities - There is all sorts of activities to do onsite including swimming, football, kids crafts ect. We never had any issues booking anything and enjoyed all the activities we did. ||Staff - 99.9% of the staff were really friendly and helpful at all times. The only issue; and this was the biggest one of the week was some of the security staff. Although we didn’t have a run in with them I seen a lot of guests insulted and spoke to very rudely. The younger lad in the team in particular was extremely bizarre and really failed to read the room on where he was working. He was questioning people like a 90 night club bouncer and talking to them like S**t at times… Not really needed when your walking in to the live lounge at 1800hrs with the kids to watch the seaside squad is it. I also felt uncomfortable when he was on the door at the Wetherspoons pub, he was blocking the entrance asking strange questions as to why we were there and what we were entering for. Loads of people commented about this and it was just very strange !!! ||Overall (dissipate the strange bouncer) we really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely come back.
