We booked a gold caravan with haven (blue Dolphin)and it was filthy. Black dog hairs everywhere, they were in the fridge, cooker tops floor. The bathroom radiator was thick with dust, toilets with urine left to harden, sink and tap splattered with toothpaste spit. Shelf’s , counters and table thick with dust. Pubes in bath and around toilet. The whole van was filthy. I reported to reception I want a refund and I am going home and was told that’s not our policy , you have to let us clean It first. They sent a cleaner round and he cleaned the parts I pointed out well and got my husband to sign a rectified form, he should not have signed as we spent more time in van we found more the shower screen thick with dirt and pink bacteria around tap as well body hairs. I will never stay at this park again and would not off stayed if it wasn’t for my children being tired , hungry and in the car already 3.5 hours . We were planning cooking most meals in the van to keep cost down, but understandably we did not want to use any of the cooking facilities so we ate everything out. ||We tried the Burger King on site , 1st they got the order wrong and then it was that greasy the bun was soggy. I paid £3 for a hot chocolate out of a park vending machine, turned out to be hot frothy water and was told it’s not there problem I need to ring Costa. Then we tried the restaurant and was handed dirty cutlery with dried food left on . Dirty unhygienic park - NOT A HOLIDAY!!! Avoid ||Complaining to haven and just get an email apology over and over again ||Clean promises or money back is rubbish they just ignore you and hope you go away

Lovely site, great with kids. The location is perfect and there is lots to do in the surrounding areas.
The site does look a bit ran down, especially the outside of the main building.
Caravans we have had have been lovely (we have been twice) but the cleaning isn't always great.. particularly the flooring hasn't been hoovered very well and window sills very dirty and covered in bits. Personally this is a nightmare for us with a toddler who eats anything they can get their hands on.

Booked a saver dog friendly caravan for a long weekend. Check in was easy and organised. Great caravan was pleasantly surprised how nice it was for a budget one. It was also very clean. It's a lovely site. Had an issue with the shower door not closing but they did come and do a temporary repair the next day. Could only get to book swimming on one of the days as it was sold out. Would definitely return to the site.

Absolutely lovely time at Blue Dolphin. The caravan was clean and tidy. The staff were all very friendly. Exactly what you would expect from a haven site. Great facilities in a beautiful part of the country. Only down side is the pool is too shallow to swim In.

Touring in our own motorhome.|Was placed at the very top of the touring field.|Weather been rough, so was very muddy, but not the sites fault.|Beautiful (although also muddy!) coastal walks to both Filey and Scarborough.|Bus stops, to both just outside main gate of site.|Can get some really good deals in their statics. Nice clean toilet blocks. Plenty of shower, loo and dish washing facilities.|Usual shop, takeaway and entertainment options too.|Well done Haven. Impressed.

Nice clean roomy caravan, well appointed with plugs and USB sockets. Site was clean. Plenty to do, my girls loved disco rollerblading although we're aching the day after. Club room a little expensive for drinks but I guess that's where they make their money. Well situated so not far to coast, beaches, great little vehicle museum down the road, not too far from Scarborough, and other places to visit. Will be returning again at some point.

Just up the road from Scarborough. So good for a base for us. The first caravan we got wasn't to good. Wasn't Clean it smelt of cigarettes and the place was full of flies because it was right next to some bins. So we went and complained the lady who we spoke to was really good she sorted us a caravan that was out of the way. Just out of the main park. That caravan was really nice clean and a bit bigger than the other one. I would stay in that part of the site again. But if you have children you would be better off in the main park. Near the entertainment. And park. Went in September so the price was a lot cheaper than a couple of weeks before.

Having had a not great experience at Flookburgh site we were a bit worried but Blue Dolphin Filey changed all that. We booked a saver caravan and it was lovely and modern with a beautiful view as it was on spruce ridge. We were a long walk from the amenities but preferred this as we are an old couple and not keen on slot machines and club noise. All the staff were lovely and pleasant and very keen to help. Caravan was clean and tidy with all the stuff you need for cooking etc all in all we had a great holiday and would certainly go to Blue dolphin filey again.well done the team at Blue Dolphin!
