Had nothing but mostly great experience. The two things stopping me from putting 5 stars is the amount of times I have asked to see a GP and they put me with a nurse who doesn’t do anything and says I need to see a GP or had a nurse refuse to look at my husbands throat even though he was there for a issue with his throat- this almost put him in hospital. The other thing is the disabled access. They have the parking but the wheelchair would not go through the door without support- what if the wheelchair user was alone? They would not be able to access the surgery.

Since I've moved out of London. This GP surgery/doctors have been good with medical issues my mum and i have had. They have sent us for bloods and plenty of scans which is very proactive. I have recently had a op,which I probably wouldn't have had if still lived in London. The GP, nurses and all staff behind reception are really nice /friendly and welcoming. It's not always easy getting an appointment, but I use the app.Its better than phoning and you can book in advance.Theres times I go online just randomly, and you may get appointment someone's just cancelled

Been here for about 30 years, not a frequent visitor but every time I visit I am impressed. The staff (Docs, nurses and receptionists) are all great, have been treated by some great docs over the years including Drs Tressider, Hanson and Murphy including a real professional new Doctor that I saw and who done a minor treatment to my hand today, sorry didn't get the name but he was very knowledgeable and concerned at my comfort during the procedure.

Had both covid vaccinations here and was super impressed with efficiently and professionalism of the operation and staff.

Car park is bigger and better now with on site pharmacy, within walking distance of all central SLH, world class medical centre that we are lucky to have

Update 22nd Jan 2024, after feeling terrible for a month was unable to book an appointment within 2 weeks on the app so tried phoning, 10th in queue then 9th in queue after 10 mins so took a visit there.

Unbelievably busy but with severe symptoms they gave me an appointment in 1 hour 10 mins time, even though the nurse had to go out on an emergency home visit and I got forgotten about I was seen after 2 hours 20 by another nurse (Kerri) who was on her lunch break, she was polite / pleasant and gave me an examination and was delighted with my care / treatment. This seems an almost impossible organization to run perfectly so I think its good to cut them some slack if they forget you / delay you / cant see you today etc.

The amount of challenging / older / sick people is scary (I was there for so long I saw many come and go) and I for one am glad we have Hassengate at the Centre of SLH.

Suggestion: Phone system to book an appointment with an individual doctor is painful to use as you keep having to re-submit the request before it tells you if that doctor is available, why not say all doctors unavailable today if that is the case (as it was).

Credit to Hassengate, Kerri and reception team, hope the chocs were nice

Still shit as any other NHS establishment... I have gone 2.days on the row, at 0815h and already fully booked... First appointment I was given was a month away.... NHS is a joke.... No wonder why A&E are overflowing... You can no longer prevent stuff...

We had an emergency appointment here for our two year old. The doctor was amazing, explained everything really well and was great at assessing the baby. The receptionist was really lovely aswell and so polite even though we was late for our appointment! Thank you to the staff who worked this weekend

Saturday appointment with Dr. Abhishek Choudhry. He was really understanding about my son's needs regarding the appointment, supportive and personable. A very good straightforward experience thank you. I also find Dr. Behn has been extremely understanding and supportive with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
I have also been wanting to provide feedback to Thurrock Hospital out of hours GP service but cant find how to do this. Their approach was outstanding in terms of supporting autism and associated anxiety. In light of the recent Oliver’s McGowan training on Learning Disabilities and Yvonne Newbold (MBE) recent Ted talk, the compassion and kindness my son and I received was a shining example of good practice.

I am a patient at this medical centre we were with another but never changed when we moved. We decided to change as it was nearer and I can say what a breath of fresh air this medical centre is. Staff and Doctors are so polite and nothing is too much trouble. Very helpful and the pharmacy is next door all in the same car park.
The medical centre does get busy but they all are lately but this centre just takes it in their stride. Me and my family are so glad we moved over. Wish we had done it when we moved house.
