This is sort of a mini Harrods but with considerably less choice than the real on in Knightsbridge. I have been to the one in Knightsbriges and the advantage of this one over the big store is that there are considerably fewer people. The disadvantage is that as iot isnt the real one you are much less likely to see celebrities with monkeys like michael jackson shopping there.

When I first walked in the lady who spoke to me seemed a little snooty but when I explained I had pre-ordered one of their lovely tea boxes she was friendlier. When she returned with the box she apologised for the wait and was very personable. The store was well laid out and was easy to peruse. And considering this is just a satellite location offers a good variety of Harrods merchandise and souvenirs and is a good size. It's a great location for anyone who didn't manage to get to the store in Knightsbridge to be able to take a little piece of Harrods home with them. Obviously some things are quite expensive but you can find some reasonably priced souvenirs here.

Tiny harrods store at Gatwick airport, we had a look round while we were here but couldn’t find anything we would really want to buy. As me and my brother were the only relatives travelling to Scotland for our grans 90th birthday we were told by our dad to spoil her with chocolates from harrods so we searched for something nice we could get for her - my brother picked up two boxes and went to pay he was delighted to get a harrods bag but at those prices it won’t be a regular thing when travelling through Gatwick.

Staff were absolutely awful. Looking to buy a mulberry bag and the kid who was serving didn’t have a clue, was rude and acted like it was an inconvenience me spending money on such an item. I asked for a mulberry dust bag (as is standard) and he said “oh really? I suppose I could get one for you but I’d have to go and get it”!!! Amazed he even got a job here. Woeful customer service and experience.

The arrogance of the old blonde lady at the cash machine was outrageous. We paid separately with my partner and when we asked for a second bag they denied saying that it’s “harrod’s rules” one bag per transport. They didn’t even know if we were heading to the same place. Worse than the ridiculous and arbitrarily made up set of rules was her condescending tone and attitude. I obviously left 🤮
