Was having a lovely day in castleton until i wandered in this store, one of the staff members a lady doing no work complaining about a fellow staff worker not puling his wait apparantley rudely snapped at me for taking a picture of a wallet i was going to buy for my mum, i decided to leave the shop and the items i wanted to buy due to the rudness of this casleton KAREN #poor customer service

I bought a beautiful ring from this shop whilst on holiday. It is a lovely quality and the lady that served me was very friendly and kind. I would highly recommend popping in to the shop if you are in the area. Lots of beautiful jewellery at some good price points.

I was going to buy my daughter a necklace then I saw the customer service and attitude of the staff and spent my money in a shop just down the road. Cheaper prices for the same item and kind staff. I Saw a poor girl break something and she was very upset. But the owner or staff member was very harsh with her like you would be with a child. The girl was paying for the item and the shop was going to keep it. I didn’t know the girl but they was something funny about the staffs behaviour along with her rudeness. I advised the girl to take the broken item with her.

Awful never felt so anxious embarrassed upset in all my life! Was making sure my children didn’t touch anything as I could see the lady watching us with hawk eyes!! (Looking at others reviews now wish I had read them before entering the shop) My handbag caught on an awful ornament thing with a stick sticking out that caught on my handbag and yes if fell. It was on a low shelf so please be careful as I had to pay. The lady said don’t worry it’s on sale, sale price was £28 as a mother of 3 that was the money I had for my afternoon out with my children, she seamed to think £28 wasn’t much and that I was crazy for being upset. I admit I did it but it was also stuck out and hooked my bag!! She wouldn’t discuss any other way just made me pay and spent ages wrapping the broken item up I starting to panic and got very upset she was making sure everyone knew what I had done, whenever I spoke she pretending she didn’t hear me and just kept saying this is a lovely item!! Wrapping up a glass broken cherry!! Never been so disrespected in my 50 years. Do not line this rude ladies pockets as she obviously has enough money anyway if £28 is nothing

If I could give zero stars I would. Went in to buy jewellery with my mum and three shop assistants all chatting to each other across the shop. None of them said hello or even acknowledged our presence. Needless to say we took our custom across the road where we were greeted with warmth, help, and a smile.
Avoid this shop, they're rude and so not deserve any custom

Excellent customer service from the lady who served us and very knowledgeable when we asked questions about the Blue John stone. We puchased a double sided necklace and she took her time to explain the different backs being Whitby Jet and the Blue John.

Absolutely awful! Didn’t get past door because very rude lady told us she was closing (4.20 when website says 5pm) told us to come back next day!
Bit difficult when not in the area!

Anyway, their loss as we went across the road and bought a 300 pound blue John bracelet!
Two incredibly helpful/funny ladies working in shop! Helpful kind and great attention to detail’
We mentioned our experience and they immediately knew as many customers have complained!

Why run shop like this if you can’t be kind and open hours advertised!

Customer service is terrible, the staff are far too familiar and extremely rude! Will never enter that shop again, and to be honest with you the staff couldn’t even be bothered to help! There was one other customer in the store just looking around and three staff, I was standing waiting to be served with a necklace in the cabinet, I changed my mind and left the store, they were more bothered about a cup of coffee/tea! Shocking manners.
