The shop is great, large range of products and good quality.
Nice atmosphere as well.
Only lose a star on the review because the cafe upstairs is closing down at the end of October 2024.
This is a shame as it was a lovely place to go for lunch.

A very pleasant, old-fashioned tea room. Excellent food.
Not wheelchair friendly as up a steep staircase above a shop. It has not changed in forty years.

I just love tradition and the history of this shop. In 1900 it was standing open available to public already offering China fine porcelain. Today this shop will not disappoint also, filled with beautiful home decor and kitchen tools. You would definitely like to visit and purchase few things from this shop to give your home fresh new look. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone. ?

Hired the tea room on a Sunday for a private party and it was fab. Martin was so great at communicating before the event and nothing seemed too much to accommodate. There were 23 at the private party and I would say that was about right for the size of the space etc. good quality food and drink provided, especially the huge scones - they were a great success with everyone!
There wasn’t a charge on the actual room hire, I just paid for the food and fizz and drinks we had, but imagine that would be based on the day you choose to go and the package.
Staff friendly, happy to help and the quintessential feel of the tearoom means there’s a great balance of what you’d want from the experience.
Will certainly use again and certainly recommend.

Buxton's flagship store is over 150 years old and sells all kinds of kitchen utensils. At the top there is a spectacular, exquisitely decorated café that recreates the era of the 1900s. Spectacular

This shop just gets better and better. If I could I would buy the whole window it's so beautiful. Bought several items for my new kitchen. Couldn't wait to get home and unpack them. Fabulous service as always.

This place is one of my favorite shops in the town. I’ve been shopping here for over 20 years, and it’s always somewhere I nip in for home or kitchen items, as they sell some of the best brands, which is fabulous, because good quality lasts a long time. For a small, independent shop, they have a brilliant variety.

I often go to the cafe for lunch, and it’s a beautiful setting with a touch of Victorian glamour.

Martin, Kelly and all the staff are so lovely and I enjoy a weekly chat when I go.
