I had a wonderful afternoon with Dawn of Hare Lady felts making a gorgeous Robin.
She was so helpful, informative and such a friendly and bright person. She knows her stuff and loves showing us beginners how not to stab our own fingers 😊

I cannot recommend Hare Lady Felts enough. If your wanting an unusual and unique present for someone or even a treat for yourself you don't have to look much further than Hare Lady Felts. Each piece is hand made by Dawn, who made me a pidgeon for my best friend who had adopted a pidgeon and to say she was thrilled would be an understatement. For the same price as a bog standard present , why not buy someone a unique and thoughtful gift.

Dawn made us two rainbow sheep for a wedding gift. My sister and sister-in-law absolutely loved them and we were over the moon with them too. So much attention to detail and the cutest pair of sheep. Thank you Dawn!

Dawn is a master felter! The creatures are superbly made and are a lovely present. Reasonably priced for the quality. Although Dawn is known for her hare felts, my favourite piece has to be Alice the Alpaca.

I was very much impressed with Hare Lady Felts felted characters and all so reasonably priced. These inspired me to "have a go" with needle felting, but I did not come across her kits until much later. I finally succumbed and chose the Harper Hare which was for me the best choice, I completed him within a few days and my family are in awe and jealous. The contents of the box seemed excellent quality (compared to wool I'd subsequently purchased from a local shop for this my new found interest). Further to which I ascertained the quality of the needles when ordering further needles whereby colours matched to depict type of needle that determined the make/manufacturer. Harper Hares instructions to complete were clear and concise and overall I am chuffed with the end result. I did have minor adjustments of my personal visual, such as tweaking his ears; his nose I shaped into a heart and also tried to indent toes to define paws - the latter requires practice on my part. Overall, the kit, in my view, is well worth the price and introduction to a wonderful new pastime.
Since I have been inspired, I've conferred with Dawn (HLF) on several occasions and found her to be extremely generous with her time, encouragement and support. She's an absolute star.
For those dubious out there: No I am not related nor do I share any commission - this is my honest and truthful account of my experience with Hare Lady Felts - trust me, you will not be disappointed.
My sister has since purchased the very same kit and I will be surprised if she doesn't agree with me.
