Ordered a product online to get collected on 5/4/2025. Didn't turn up was told try the week after tried Saturday 12/04/25 to collect said item. Still not arrived and they didn't know when it would arrive. Checked 19/04/25 on my order and someone in store has fraudulently marked it as collected on the 5/04/25. I've lost weekends waiting for halfords to get the product only to loose another weekend.

Do yourself a favor and never order online complete disaster

Awful service. I went in store to order and pay for a boy's bike on Tuesday, including assembly. The bike was in stock and I was told it should be ready on Friday but they would message me to confirm. I heard nothing so rang on Sunday morning, all calls are now dealt with by a call centre. The agent said she would check with the store, and after a wait, she told me she couldn't get through and would message them asking them to contact me direct. I still heard nothing so rang again on Tuesday afternoon. The call centre agent said she would check with the store. The bike was ready but no one had bothered to contact me. Simply not good enough. There are plenty of other stores for my next bike purchase.

Had my dash cam fitted today at Halfords Warrington. The young man was very professional, friendly and very helpful. Its was fitted quickly and an excellent job was done. I would definitely recommend him and Halfords to have your dash cam fitted. He even set my app up on my phone for me and explained how it all works. A great job done.

Phoned to book bike in for gear adjustment, guy was really nice and gave me appointment time options (I chose 17.00 that day) I asked …will they do it today? Yes, unless it’s items not on the service because they may have to order them! But a standard service and adjustment is fine. Fantastic service I said! Can’t believe it’s same day service. I even left a glowing message on their questionnaire after the call.
Took bike in, and was handed a receipt….whats this for I asked. For when you collect it! Oh no, I’m booked to wait for it! We don’t do that and there are NO technician in today. Someone will contact you tomorrow with update!
Hadn’t heard anything from them for a couple of days so went in today for an update. At that moment Mike brought the bike through, (he didn’t know it was mine) and said to Alex, there is no reason this shouldn’t have been done yesterday! I said that’s mine…..Alex said ok, great have you had a call….no I replied. Oh ok. Well it’s £160…..shocked I said it’s only a gear adjustment…..Alex asked another worker what he could do….£50 for gear and brake. I replied….carry on please and when will it be done? The back end of the week after next, Mike is off next week. Let me have the bike, I will take it away.

I was at Halford in Warrington a couple days ago. I had some issues with wheels and brakes in my bike. I spoke with friendly and very well informed gentleman (he's name is Mike).He fix my bike and also give me a few really handy advice. I'm super happy with the service and I have to admit its lovely to speak with someone who is passionate about what he's doing and have real knowledge. Excellent service MIKE.

Staff here are incredibly helpful. I turned up with a car too small for a tool centre I bought and the chap went out of his way to help and keep hold of the item for a while as I sorted out an alternative.

After sales advice was also great. I dealt with a few of the staff and all went out of their way to help.

I attended at the Halfords store in Warrington today with the intention of buying an E bike. I don’t have have a large knowledge of E bikes so I went upstairs to the cycle department in order to obtain some guidance. Working in that department were three male employees in uniform. One was behind the counter at the rear. Another was back and forth putting things on a shelf and the last male was riding a bike that he appeared to have just repaired round the store.
I looked down the store but not one of these male would look in my direction. I then walked down the store towards them and still not one of them looked in my direction.
I believe they knew of my presence.
They also did not appear approachable so I left the store.
Before doing so I made my feeling clear to a young male who was working behind the counter downstairs as to the poor service his cycle department was providing.
I asked him to pass my comments on to the manager which I very much doubt he did.
I then went across to go outdoors where guess what.
I saw a very helpful person who gave me advice and I spent a lot of money on an E bike.
Extremely poor Halfords.
I won’t return

Made an online order for cycle related products, received a confirmation email that all parts of the order were awaiting collection.
Went to collect, one of the main parts of the order were missing.
Not really surprised, Halfords continue to decline even further from the reputation they once had.
The staff certainly don’t care any less.
I won’t take the chance again, Decathlon for me next time, at least the staff are pleasant, and they can be bothered to check stock.
