I come here every few months to donate my clothes because my mum was a patient in the hospice when she passed and they took the best care of her. So out of respect for not only her but the wonderful team, I want to do my part to make some money for them. However, the first time I donated here, I remember there was a woman who was extremely rude and didn’t want to hear anything I had to say was literally just like “put your stuff there and you can go” which outraged me. It did put me off donations to this specific shop but as I’ve seen other reviews here I thought i wasn’t alone… never the less, today I donated two bags. I was greeted by a truly lovely woman who actually had time to listen to what I had to say and had a little chat with me. Honestly I didn’t catch her name but she was honestly so lovely. I look forward to leaving more donations soon I hope it’s her or someone like her working when I do 🙂

Some Staff can be a bit rude , I left donations several times and it looks like they are doing us a favour.

I go quite often to this charity shop, and variety is good however Lately I noticed things are a bit overpriced, considering the quality, condition and brand.

I wend today to buy sam stif and da lady slime one she os sooo rude and no healpe to no one i feel soo disappoints and becoz of her atitude i didan buy noting bad de have nice item and she didan want to give olso discount on stuff

Ended up driving off with half a boot-full of clothes and kids toys, as the lady accepting the first half was so unbelievably rude and dismissive I couldn't bear to be in the shop another second.

One charity's loss is another's gain. Unfortunately G&B hospice is stuck with whoever she is.
