Very awkward experience, no manners and no personality. The owner is very grumpy and I've been a few times and have noticed this everytime.Scared to ask anything, as his response can be quite rude! Either his like this with everyone or he's racist. Went with my elderly mother who struggles to walk, and he was quite rude that the shop is going to close, so can he hurry up and leave the shop. I understand that obviously when your closing you need to tell the customer, but he has no sweetness when he talks, always rude. I'm sorry but your business would thrive so much better if only you had a personality and a friendly approach.

OMG at his has to be my favourite new fabric shop 😮 The prices of some of these fabrics I have seen being charged double in the next town! So many dressmaking fabrics too, hardly any upholstery so no confusion, apart from which to chose! Even the prices on Melton wool bolts- amazing. Some do have defects so keep an eye out but they are generous in accommodating these, and at these prices! Will be back with a car full of sewing friends next time-speaking of which parking is easy and 2 hours allowed at the Morrison’s car park just opposite

Spoilt for choice here, and the fabrics are a great price! Definitely be visiting again soon! I can also say the fabric is great to work with! Already made a dress and some dungarees out of the fabric I bought and it was a dream to do

Did not respond to me when I greeted him. Muttered under his breath saying it was unusual that I wanted thin material. Very rude and unhelpful. No customer service skills. I left immediately.

Went to the store today and received very bad customer service . Asked for fabric for throws , the guy starts muttering under his breath. Also said Hello twice when I walked into the shop, but was ignored. No response . We walked out, never going to return.

Rude, RACIST, no manners, did not acknowledge us at the beginning. He mutterred under his breath when politely asked for thinner fabrics.

Wonderful place. The staff are very helpful lots of threads to choose from along with wall to wall floor to ceiling full of fabric. Love it.
