Hugely recommend this Coffee House Grain Culture. We have been going there for quite some time and find the Coffee consistantly well made, nice ambience and good food. Highly recommend.

This place is fantastic. Great coffee, amazing baked goods and bread plus a range of deli goods. The service is always warm and welcoming and we particularly enjoy our chats with Ruth. Having the outside space in summer is a special treat. Definitely worth checking out if you live in Ely or are just visiting and need coffee!

Really friendly staff.
Tried the vegan cookie yesterday which was delicious (I’m not vegan), had a sourdough loaf today and it’s phenomenal, best I’ve ever had!

Brought back an orange wine that tasted and smelt strongly of acetone. Was told strict no returns policy.
Despite admitting she hadn’t tried it before, she said the wine was fine and that ‘not liking’ it isn’t a reason for return.
Absolutely no concession or apology, just treated like an idiot who obviously can’t know as much as them about wine.

Used to come here all the time, spending loads on their great sour dough, ok coffee and alcohol selection.
Their pastries are usually burnt. The premium you pay for everything isn’t worth the cold treatment you get from the older members of staff.
Needless to say for the sake of £22 you lost two 3 year-long customers.
