Popped in for a quick Chip Barm... hit the spot perfectly after being parked on the M6 for an hour!

This I'd by far the best chipshop we have been to. I don't live in the area, but when I go near Goosnargh, we make a special journey. The food is hot, not greasy, and cooked to perfection. The batter on the fish is lovely, and you get a good-sized fish. The cheese and onion pie my daughter had was homemade and totally vegetarian. It was the first pie for a long time she finished. The price is also very reasonable too. The shop is busy everytime I've been which tells you something. Well done ?

We've just began our holiday near Beacon Fell & wanted Fish & Chips after a long day travelling . We thought it may be busy as it was Friday evening & we were right . The staff were absolutely brilliant throughout. There was a queue out the door but they handled everything so efficiently & I was impressed how they coped so well under pressure. They were very polite & courteous & the fish & chips were delicious! And such good value too! I'd definitely 100% recommend them

Fantastic chippy and good value, I've been many times and it's the best I've been to and I've sampled a few places in my time ( not proud to admit it). The plate steak pie is wonderful, far superior than the Holland's rubbish. The chips are beautifully cooked, light and crispy not full of oil like some places. All the staff are courteous and friendly. Highly recommended.

Fantastic fish and chips! Staff recognized visiting from the states. Still piping hot even with take away and stopping for petrol on the return. Great mushy peas and gravy too!! I will return for more - highly recommend. Extremely nice staff and substantial portion size too!!
