Bought some lovely looking cod and have to say it's the best fish I can remember eating, my dad also agreed.
The owner was very friendly and helpful and clearly an expert fishmonger.
Highly recommended, will definitely shop here again.

Updated (since my first visit) to say the amazing quality and service I got was not a one-off, it's the same each time I have visited. I was actually never a big fan of fish (I first bought it to cook for my dad) but the fish from here tastes to good I'm slowly converting!

Today I saw the best customer service I can remember ever seeing. Having bought my fish I returned to my car and took a phone call before driving off. As I was sat there I noticed another car park up behind me, it was an older lady that clearly had some mobility problems - she was struggling to even get out of her car - I was about to end my phone call and go to offer help.

Rick came out of his shop with (what I assume was) some fish in a bag with his card reader to serve the lady in her car and save her the struggle of getting to the shop. As well as being a quality fishmonger, he is an amazing person. Great work Sir!!!

05/05 The difficult thing is what to have! ? ? ? ? Went for the Dorada and scallops today. ? Although the swordfish and tuna looked very tempting. Always a great welcome. ?

23/04 Back today for some lovely salmon fillets and a tuna steak. Always such high quality produce and a friendly welcome. ?

Great local fishmongers. Warm welcome and always has something a little different. Swordfish was THE must have for me today. Also, try the spicy octopus.? ? If you want a healthier New Year then fish is the way to go!

Rick is a 5 star businessman, nothing is a problem for him and you get great chat ?, but most of all his fish has got to be the best in Lancashire , fresh, full of flavour, juicy and wholesome, thanks Rick hope your around for a long time and just what Great Harwood high st needs .

Been to this shop several times now. Great selection of fresh fish. The quality is of the highest standard and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's great to see a quality fish monger in the area. I hope it gets the support it deserves.

Standard of fish very good (plaice, halibut, sardines kippers ) helpful service. Gave 4 not 5 because they did not have a couple of things I wanted. (sold out)but that is only to be expected during first week. Superb to have a fish shop in the town again.

Visited the shop today. The fish I wanted was not in stock but the person who served me was very knowledgeable about the different types of fish that was on sale. I decide with Dorade. It tasted great. Will definitely visit again.
