Awesome little local shop with very friendly and helpful staff. For a small shop it stocks all the essential goods and there's far more choice than you might expect.
Opening times given on the site are for the post office section, not the shop itself, so if it's the weekend and you suddenly realise you don't have that one thing you REALLY need, remember they're open until 9pm on a Sunday. Ideal!
I thoroughly recommend them. Five solid stars from me.

Ooh, I could crush a grape at the anger I'm feeling! How dare someone give this superb village shop anything less than 5 stars. Robert and his friendly merry gang run the best village shop I've ever been fortunate enough to go to, let alone live near, and I'm no spring chicken. Crammed with every conceivable and inconceivable item you can imagine I'm constantly blown away by what this shop has to offer. Prices are extremely good for a small shop and easily compete with the supermarkets on many of life's necessities.

As for a 'bunch of chavs' go there; this is the UK and that's the story everywhere, I suspect that the person that wrote that can count themselves as one.
