I have eaten here several times over the years and have always found the food and portions to be really good, tasty and value for money, but today's lunch has been disappointing. Quiche, salad and chips, really simple meal. The crust on the quiche was very hard and tasteless, the salad was virtually non existent and there were literally about 9 chips placed in a strategic criss cross fashion. Loads of space on the dinner plate. Not nearly enough food for a proper meal, very small portion considering a bit of extra salad and a potato costs very little. I would think twice about returning.

The afternoon tea was brilliant. At £10 per head instead of £15 was great, but at £15 it would have been worth it too ... also catered for our glucose intolerant friend too ... thanks, we'll be back

It's the first time I've ever been for afternoon tea and I must admit I did enjoy it here. So if your passing call in I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely fabulous, as usual. I know how good this place is, but only one other in our path had been before. Already planning our next visit. Unanimous opinion, best afternoon tea in the area.

My wife and i took our daughter and baby for breakfast.I had the full English and was very pleased I did.The wife had the smaller version and enjoyed hers too.Our daughter opted for the vegan version and said it was very tasty and really enjoyed it.The staff were very friendly and attentive and made you feel welcome. Loved the Lincolnshire sausages, some of the best I have tasted. We have already booked for when she's back over.
