Great Pharmacy in the Cheshire village of Farndon. There are steps at the front door, but it is step free if you use the Post Office entrance around the side. The shop plan has changed recently. Quick service, don't forget to check the reduced item basket in front of the till.

Today I needed to nip to the pharmacy to grab some foundation make-up on my way to the office. I'm a long standing customer of this pharmacy and loved the last owner who sadly retired and it is now under new owners.

I arrived at 08:27 and the new owner informed me that they weren't open until 08:30 and then angrily stated that "I really need to start locking the doors! This keeps happening every day! I only have it unlocked so the staff can get in. They need to be able to get in because I dock their pay after they're a minute late. That's all it's used for and people keep doing this daily!" I asked if he wanted me to go, and he said "no, it's fine- just remember for next time." 1-2 minutes later he comes up angrily explaining that he can't serve me until 08:30 and went over what he said to me the first time again so I replied "yes I know, you've already explained that." The poor staff behind the counter didn't know where to look! I ended up telling the owner that actually it's fine and I left getting a half-hearted bye, thanks.

I've never been treated so terribly and hate to support business' who dock pay and treat their staff and public this badly. Gave a 1* review because I can't leave 0 stars.

Great Post office and shop and the prices are really good. The pharmacist and staff are fantastic. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Always have time to explain and help. Great asset to the village.

Recently moved to Farndon. So nice to have a Pharmacy in the village. Staff friendly & Professional. Attached to Post Office / shop area...very useful.
