Initially had just left a 1 star review and not elaborated with any text but since Extreme automotive have replied trying to falsely claim I had buyers remorse, I shall elaborate.
Bought a Mini Cooper S ~June 2023.
Found an issue within a week of purchase: the cam lobes were rusty, visible through the oil fill cap (doesn't take a mechanic to know that is bad news, and certainly a fault).

Tried to take the vehicle back, which was within my consumer rights of 'short-term right to reject' even if I did have buyers remorse, however it was in fact the obvious fault that led me to wanting a refund.

This does not even require the vehicle to be faulty for to be legally binding under the consumer rights act, but it was still refused by EA. So a small warning to potential customers there that Extreme Automotive feel comfortable breaching the consumer rights act.

The RAC report that I had completed on the car did not say 'it was in excellent condition', it in fact had only 5/13 check points that were 'satisfactory for age and mileage', the rest needed attention, and the report included the cam lobe issue on there (picture attached).

I luckily managed to claim on my credit card under section 75 and got all my money back (which would not be the case if it was in the favour of extreme automotive!), but it was not a particularly enjoyable experience, and I certainly did not get my money back from EA through good customer service.

I could elaborate further but I feel like I've said enough. Alex I wouldn't suggest replying to my review again trying to make false accusations about me again because I am happy to provide further evidence of your loose interpretation of the consumer rights act, for the sake of giving potential customers the truth so it's probably in your best interest that I don't do that!

My daughter bought her first car from Alex. The car was originally bought for Alex’s daughter but when her circumstances changed he put it up for sale. We had a few teething problems with the car but Alex got them sorted for us. Fantastic family run business

Had an accident in my car and was sent to extreme to get it fixed and what a job they have done. My car came back looking good as new and with little to no fuss at all. Would fully recommend!

Recently bought a car from this garage 🙂

Positives: really affordable.
Communication was great.
Car came with 12 months mot & was serviced before receiving.
They delivered my car to my house for me.
Felt really comfortable with Alex when buying the car.

The only issue is that as soon as I drove the car at 30 with the windows down - noticed a constant rattling noise (this can be heard inside the car and outside as a pedestrian). I contacted the garage a week later and was great they got me in a couple days later. They did some work attaching the exhaust more securely but once again once I drove on a 30 road could hear the rattle and a shuffling/rustling noise on the front passenger tyre. Rang straight away and they got me it again and I pointed out the noise. Managed to get me in a few days later and tried to find the noise. Unfortunately couldn’t find what was making the noise - which I understand finding a rattle can be difficult. The only downside is that they could obly hear it sometimes but driving anywhere at 30 or below it is a constant rattle and like shuffle/rustle on the front passenger tyre. Now I’m just waiting to see if it gets worse 😅.

Bought a 2006 Range Rover Vogue last week. Service, MOT, undercoating, new pads and discs all included in the price plus delivery to my home in snowy Derbyshire weather conditions.
Battery unfortunately failed three days later (it’s an old car so somewhat comes with the territory). Was not a problem for the garage to come and sort the following day with them fitting the bill.
Fantastic service! Highly recommend!
