Oh dear this place is so behind in customer service, rude, overpriced and most of the time by the time you reach till price goes up. If you try to ask something english language isn't welcome 🙁 Oh dear what a shame

I had an unpleasant experience at this food store. The staff was rude, and some refused to communicate in English, only in Polish.
I purchased meat, which, upon reaching home, emitted a foul smell. Although they refunded me upon return (thankfully, I retained the receipt), they refused to acknowledge the issue with the meat's odor. It's disheartening that no one addresses such problems. This will be my last visit to the store. Shameful lack of accountability.

Good for a self catering tourist: it sells a wide variety of foods at modest prices, often in small packages that can fit in my suitcase when I leave. Not so good for people with limited agility: it has narrow aisles.

I can't read Bulgarian, or even Polish, but (1) Google Translate is sometimes helpful (2) so were the staff and a fellow shopper. If you think you might like a tomato sauce with hot peppers, try lutenitsa one day.

Customer service is very rude and awkward, don’t chat to you unless you need a bag. Certain foods are ok. Some foods are not. I’ve seen mouldy foods on shelves and in the fridge. Came in last week to do some shopping, bought Polish pate with tomatoes and I went to take it out the cupboard, opened it and there’s live larvae in it. The bottom of the tin was pierced which I have not noticed until today. Absolutely disgusting, I have two small children and they don’t bother to check if everything’s okay!!!😡

I used to visit this store on Many occasions over the year and girls have always been so very polite and helpful. BUT today the lady on the till who served me with dark hair the attitude was un acceptable and poor customer service. not every product is in English so if customer is asking for advice it should done in friendly helpful Manor, so not to speak to customer as if they are stupid for asking the question

Europa food store beyond a considerable joke with extremely rude staff, who don't have the brain oxygen to understand what customer service means. Me and my partner shop here often because the variety of continental food is extensive. Very disappointed and appalled recently and to point out Beata a cashier is extremely rude an inconsiderate to customers. My partner's son came in a couple of days ago and their was a technical error with the system and his transaction. But after managing to pay with no problem was ordered to return an item back to the shelf. May I remind staff working here this is your job not the customers. Later his mother was told her son was rude when actually her son does not understand Polish the language spoken to him he is Ukrainian. May I remind staff you speak English when there is a technical error. I am informing and educating staff here as the boss is incapable of doing so as when addressed to him he starts laughing. To add to this I also would like to remind the store that you need to write when meat was first displayed on the deli counter. As on occasions have received meat not fresh. This a food hygiene measure !
