Work was excellent, the team worker was superb they did not leave anything just clean my house like it was before, I must say even better. I am sure they re doing it better in Leeds.

I had internal insulation installed a few weeks ago. The installers were great and carried out the installation within a day.
The reason I'm giving Eco Grants UK a 1 star review is due to the installation of the kitchen extractor fan.
To have the insulation installed, extractor fans need to be fitted in the kitchen and bathroom, which they duly were. The installer, who came to install the fans didn't introduce himself, to me, and neither did his supervisor.
Because the kitchen fan was wired into the wall socket, the cooker socket had to be switched off at the mains panel; I had to switch the cooker socket back on.
On the 23rd of May, I had two smart meters installed. Prior to installing the meters, the installer had to check the electrics and used a special plug to check the sockets, in the kitchen.
Luckily, the first socket that was tested, was the one which powers the extractor fan. The reason I stated 'luckily', is that the socket isn't earthed, which is a hazard.
If the fan installer noticed something amiss, with regards to the wiring - such as a loose wire, why didn't he fix the issue?
Likewise, after connecting the fan's wires, to the socket, why didn't the installer check to see if everything was ok, with regards to the wiring, inside the socket.
Because the socket isn't earthed, I can't use the oven and have to use an extension cable if I want to use my air fryer.
It's fortunate that there hasn't been a fault with the air fryer's plug, or the oven's power supply, otherwise I could have been electrocuted.
Surely, when dealing with the electrics, in a house, things need to be checked, before the work can be signed off?
If the work wasn't checked/tested, by the installer's supervisor, then what does that say about Eco Grants UK, who either employ the extractor fan installer, or have a contract with the company he works for?
Because I can't use the oven, for the time being, I've had to buy food that I can cook in the air fryer. Thank goodness I have an air fryer and extension lead, that's all I can say.

Professional fast and friendly people. Finish job in just 1 day. Protected all of my belongings. After finish job next day cleaning team came and clean windows door and hoover all carpet.
