Handy little local shop I've been going to this premises since it was called Motts over 40yrs ago . It has 2x self checkouts which is a plus and friendly staff and service. Only downside is food can be slightly overpriced plus could do with more variety of mags and more plants 🪴

Unhelpful female member of staff on till, requested to use discount card at beginning of transaction (as I’m well aware you can do, working at the co op myself), but she claimed that wasn’t possible, so I waited until end of transaction but she put it through without my discount. Nice range of stock and good location however 🙂

Most of the staff here are very lovely, there is one old bag in the morning looking like a bitpul who is so rude no customer service skill nothing it makes this shop the worst in colchester.
