A clean shop, it stocks many of the things a family needs. But the prices are high compared with places like Tesco, or Lidl, or even Sainsbury's. Especially because of that, I absolutely recommend checking your receipt every time. You might think you got a good meal deal, but the assistants often charge full price for each item. You might have picked up something with a price-reduced sticker - but often, they just ring it through at the original price. This isn't an exaggeration; I've used this shop regularly and errors occur depressingly often. You need to look out for over-charging in all directions. If you do take a receipt back and query the bill, look at the handful of change they'll (crossly) give you - often, the maths isn't great either.

You wouldn't expect a small out of the way food store to have so much on offer with prices often cheaper than the larger stores in town. Eggs, milk, bread, yes, but anchovies and capers? Place is a gold mine. Beats dealing with the busyness of the high street. I've found stuff here I couldn't find anywhere else. Worth a visit.

All female members of staff are miserable and wouldn't know customer service if it slapped them in the face.
They all need a lesson on being friendly! Not to mention FAST and EFFICIENT.
