This is such a great pub right across the street from Windsor Castle. Ola, the assistant manager, was our server and is a delight. She was helpful, making suggestions on dishes to try. The food came quickly and was delicious. My friend got the Hunter’s Chicken and said it was very good. I got the Pie Tasting and wowzers! They were all delicious but the cheddar cheese, potato and leek pie really knocked my socks off. Ola shared that everything is made fresh and when they run out, they are out. She obviously has a lot of pride in this pub and it’s a true gem! If I’m ever back in Windsor, this is where I’ll be dining!

Joanna was our fantastic server. In spite of being extraordinarily busy, she was very attentive and ensured we were well taken care of. The fish & chips and sticky toffee pudding were exceptional and are a must-try. Will certainly come back here next time we are in Windsor.

Came for a quick drink. Nice large place located right in the centre of Windsor across the road from the castle. Good choice of drinks at reasonable prices. Service was ok. Food menu available but we didn't order any food.

This visit was taken 2 years ago 22/01/23 I still have some pictures on my phone and thought I would give this lovely pub a review,
Food is yummy specially the padron peppers we tried to book this place before this visit to Windsor but they closed at 4 pm this is 2 yrs ago so the second time we managed to get a table ! Lovely lunch and drink while exploring the castle 🏰

Perfect pub! Located in the bustling heart of Windsor, by the castle.
Staff are always friendly and helpful.
Often host a singer, always been very good when I've visited.
Massive "garden" area at the rear, perfect for dirty smokers (like me)!
Proper old pub, lovely.

One of my bucket list items on my trip to england was to have a sunday roast, and im so glad i chose this place!! As a celiac, i could not just have it anywhere, and this one blew me away!
