From when we arrived it has been an amazing experience. We arrived after 3pm and the room wasn’t ready which was fine. But they gave us a free upgrade and complimentary drinks vouchers for the inconvenience. The staff were really helpful and made the experience the best I’ve ever encountered. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and they even left a card in the room and another 2 complimentary drinks vouchers. I loved every minute we stayed there and can’t wait to go back thank you to everyone for making our stay so special xx

We had a terrific stay at the Hilton we stayed there one night for our 8 year anniversary . Staff was so helpful the room we stayed in was spotless and good standard boxes the only down side was the pillows . Spa was amazingly I don’t particularly like the lockers wish it was more easy to use. The sauna pool was lovely and warm , we did get told the the button didn’t work . Loved all the sauna. We I’ve had a lovely meal in the hotel and the staff couldn’t have done more considering my other half had a shellfish allergy. Breakfast in the morning was decent all round . Lovely staff thank you very much for looking after us . We be defiantly staying again .

We have used the Doubletree on a number of occasions. We've had day rooms, overnight stays and used the facilities in the Spa and the dining. All were excellent, clean and well maintained. The staff are very friendly, polite and professional. We will be booking a private spa for 2 on our next visit and we can't wait.

The rooms were nice, and the bed was comfortable, but the spa was disappointing. Towels were scattered all over the floor, and there was nowhere to sit or lie down, despite being told that time slots were in place to manage the number of guests. Breakfast was also underwhelming—the eggs were hard as if they had been sitting out for hours, the sausage was tough to cut, and the bacon fat was unrendered.

Very good - and excellent value for the price I paid. I expected it to be empty on the night I stayed there between Christmas and New Year, but it was sold out due to a large wedding and other events. This meant that parking was hard to find in the large car park. My only complaint is that breakfast seemed chaotic and understaffed - no option to request vegetarian food as is usual at a Doubletree or Hilton breakfast buffet and buffet was constantly running out of eggs and other staples. Other than that minor issue, though, the stay was great and I will definitely be back.

Hotel is of standard. Pool area was quite cold. Had our reservation for dinner booked but had to wait over as they looked busy and struggling. Our waitress Emma did a great job, hat off to this young lady!

Lovely hotel, very clean and comfy beds! I had a spa package included in my stay and the lovely Jess did my massage. She was absolutely brilliant and very attentive! I felt very relaxed throughout and felt so much better after my massage. I would definitely recommend, me and my mum both had a lovely stay!

I bought my mum this spa experience as a Christmas present and we were both really looking forward to this, and left feeling massively let down. |First off we used the facilities before our mud room treatment. |There is a Sauna, Steam, Hammam and aroma room, however the steam room and aroma room were both cold. Only the Hammam and Sauna were working. The hot tub pool adequate however could do with being warmer, it was more of a Tepid Tub. |We then went to our mud room treatment. There were a selection of different muds which we had to apply ourselves and then sit in the steam room, however once again the steam room wasn’t working and we were essentially covered in mud and sitting in the cold for half an hour. |To top it all off, the showers were all freezing and after speaking to the women in the changing rooms it has been like this for a while. |Not worth the money. Only half the facilities function and a cold shower after a spa experience really topped it off. |We did complain to the supervisor on the day ‘Liv’ who assured us we would receive a full refund through Spa Breaks however I am yet to receive any correspondence regarding this.
