We recently got married on the 22nd June and bought all the suits from Dobell we ordered £££'s worth and every time we needed an exchange or return then this was done with no issue and was rectified every time. Their service was faultless and as their website says it was so hassle free allowing us one less thing to worry about.

These guys saved Christmas…

I have ordered from Dobell before and I have never had a bad experience, in fact this last time they went above and beyond to help me out.

I ordered a Christmas suit, yes I know who orders a Christmas suit, especially one that you literally can only where for 1 day of the year, but if you saw the joy it brought my family you would do the same.

I ordered it far too late and ordered the suit in completely the wrong size, I went for my trouser size instead of my suit size, I don’t order a lot of suits.

It turned up nice and quick and I tried it on, or at least tried to try it on, this thing would have fit a small child not a middle aged man.

I panicked, filled out the returns form, emailed explaining the emergency and their customer service was outstanding! They sent a replacement out as quick as they possibly could and the replacement arrived in time for Christmas, this one fitted like a glove, so much so most members of the family thought I’d had it specially made.

Like I said before the joy this suit brought was unmeasurable.

I’d like to thank Emelie personally for being an absolute super star and helping me with this. I will definitely be ordering more from here and feel like a very valued customer.

I really can't fault them. Ordered wrong size in the sale. They then honoured the orginal discount on a different item even though the deal had expired. Quick and clear communication and returns process was very easy and refund in good time. Really impressed.

Really bad experience. I ordered 5 suits with them, and emailed to ask if I could exchange this a couple of times if needs be because it’s for the groomsmen at my wedding and needed to make sure sizes fit. They replied saying exchanges were fine. No further details were included.

I’ve now sent one of the suits back a second time only to have it returned within 48 hours saying it’s outside of the returns window.
I was never told at any point that there was a window that I had to exchange with a limited time frame, and I’d even checked that I could exchange a couple of times if I needed to.

I’ve emailed their customer service explaining the situation - the suit is still available in all sizes on their website. I’ve tried to email their customer service to say I wasn’t aware of the limited window as no one told me of it - but they’ve said it’s tough, and recommended that I spend another £200 to buy another suit?!

Really shocked in a cost of living crisis and when there’s such a focus on not being wasteful with fast fashion, that a company would demand that someone lay out another £200 that they don’t have, even when you have plenty of stock AND the ability to exchange the brand new, unused suit, even after I asked if I could do several exchanges! Just because you don’t want to help!

So, be careful if you do order. Should you be unclear on anything (even what they advise), they’ll make sure it costs you the maximum to make it right!

Really sad, because the suits are lovely quality. Just really disappointing that this is another company focused on wringing people dry than helping or caring for customers.

I always wear size 32 or 34 trousers so I bought 34 from Dobell. They are tiny.
Similar situation for the jacket.
