Tracking and email notification said my parcel would be delivered. No delivery first day, parcel back at depot. Same the second day. Managed to contact Customer Service who spoke to Basildon branch. The customer service confessed Basildon never put it out for delivery either day, they were waiting for a heavy load delivery. It's bottles but under 10kg. I have a feeling this could go on forever. They did give me the option to collect it...if I could get there in the next 90 mins and after I payed for the delivery....

One of the worst service i experienced not professional and very bad on update.
Useless staff with attitude and he even told about my attitude when I told him to pack my goods back the same way as I packed because he just completely ruined.
Do not use this depot but better to stay away from DHL as they have no idea about business 🤬
I tell my business partner also do not use them as they make it very difficult to send a parcel and ruin it as well.
Never again dhl and definitely not this Basildon depot with this guy🤦‍♂️
I had nothing but problem here but I make sure last time I been here.
Not poor service no service at all.

I booked a collection from DHL Express and the driver did not collect that day. As it was a high value item i went to this depot after work, arriving at 6.50. The depot closes at 7 but when I rang the bell I was told that they only accept drop offs before 6.30 even though the DHL Express website doesn’t mention this.
I explained that I had only made the journey as the driver had not collected and now that I was there could they take the parcel even though it wouldn’t leave their depot until the next day. I showed the lady at the desk proof that a collection had indeed been booked as I had e-mail confirmation.
Upon seeing this she said ‘give me a minute’ and went in to the office. I then waited another 10 minutes before ringing the bell again at which point they were laughing in the office. I waited another 5 minutes and then left the depot at around 7.15 as they clearly had no intention of coming back out.
I don’t even mind that they didn’t take the parcel but it’s just human decency to come out and say that after you have checked. Appalling customer service. Through my business we have dealt with all of the big operators over the years and this is my single worst experience.

Best DHL depot I've seen. Brand new and very well organised. Plenty of parking for popping in and out, they even have electric car charging points. Staff at the reception are extremely helpful. Recommended.

Absolutely Useless,
Waited in all day and driver never turned up.
called and they said driver didn't have time to get to me, parcel had been on their van since 730 am and couldn't get to me by 8pm !!!!!!
told I couldn't have my goods till next Week ,
Called Apple told them to say I will collect but was refused, Then at 630pm He said collect it if you like, Asked where they were and time they stayed open till,
had a reply 15 mins to 8pm ,
I'm at least 20 miles away !!!!!, just ignorant , unhelpful and just why Apple use these cowboys is beyond me,
next purchase I will ask who delivers and if its these clowns I WON"T buy it from any shop who uses DHL to deliver. ps wouldn't even have 1 star otherwise you can't post

The lady was very helpful but unfortunately they didn't take my type of parcel at this depot. She kindly gave me the address of the local one that did. Its a bit confusing to say the least but the staff were lovely. Parking out front of reception
