Great little deli about a mile from Chester Cross.
Called in to get a filter coffee on the go. You can sit outside on Faulkner Street and watch the world go by, they have two outside small tables if it is warm enough.

I've been coming here (infrequently) for many years. Great staff, great food, great knowledge... so why the negative review? I went today and had to tolerate some very off-hand treatment from a member of staff. She turned her back on me while I was talking to her, and was brusque in her attitude over a question I asked. I'm friendly and wasn't at all unpleasant. This has never happened to me here, before, so I'm sure it's a one-off, but it's unacceptable and will put me off patronising the deli in future, which is a great shame.

So, if you're the young woman who works here, and has a tattoo on your wrist, and you were working today... every customer is valuable, regardless of whether you're having a good or a bad day.

Amazing deli on the equally wonderful Hoole high street. Packed full of delicious food, chutneys, fresh sandwiches and your normal deli fare. Worth hunting out if you're in the area.
