The deer café boasts a large selection of both food and beverages.

Whether you're in the mood for a hearty meal or just a light snack, you'll find plenty of options to choose from.

The variety of hot and cold drinks is equally extensive, catering to all tastes and preferences. Alcohol was served at this cafè too, which we didn't order, but was available.

Portion sizes are perfect – generous without being overwhelming. Every dish we tried was delicious and well-presented.

While I can't comment on the cost since my son kindly treated us to lunch, the overall quality of the food and service suggests that Deer Café offers excellent value for money.

I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a lunch place with a great dining experience in Hoddesdon.

It was our first visit today and the food was absolutely delicious! Service was outstanding, prompt and professional, we did not have to wait for drinks/food/bill and nothing was too much trouble- our lovely server even cut up my daughter’s food so I could eat! Warmest welcome ever, we loved it here and will definitely be back!

This place really has gone from strength to strength over the years. I simply can't recommend Deer Cafe enough. The food is always exceptional, the menu choice is perfect and the staff are super friendly and efficient. If it's a cafe you're looking for then this is the place with all the expected breakfast/lunch options but if its Turkish lunch or dinner they have you covered too and the quality is as good, if not better than the other local Turkish restaurants. I've actually walked out of Wetherspoons across the road before as I realised I could get better quality food and at competitive prices at Deer Cafe. A special shout out also to the owner Ozay Tabak, who personally cooked my Sarma Lamb Beyti on my most recent visit and also to their amazing waitress Emma Sammarco, who could break a world record for the amount she can remember without writing anything down and couldn't be more attentive. Over the years, my whole family has become quite attached to this place, so long may it survive to continue brightening up Hoddesdon's dining experience. I should also point out that their chicken and bacon jacket potato is probably the best I've had 😁👍

have been here many times and I love it. The food is always fresh and staff is friendly. They are very reasonably priced. You can get a 3 course meal for £9.50 and it’s very filling. At times I struggle to finish the main and the dessert.

They are always busy but the staff is attentive and the site is clean.

This is a family business and when I am available I always support. The owner works very hard and I love his passion 🙂

PS dessert was carrot cake with ice cream today but no photo as we were too full and didn’t want to waste any food 🙂

All I can say is some of the other cafe's in hoddesdon should come in and try this establishment it's a benchmark cafe

I had the breakfast my partner had eggs the bread was good hash browns crispy eggs were ok sausage was good quality but Lincolnshire not my favourite but cooked well and meaty beans served in a bowl bacon done nice mushrooms a bit oily but tasty.

Great staff so welcoming opened door when we came in. Definitely come here again but have a dinner next time.

Didn't realise how big the place was inside! It looks like quite a tiny cafe from outside. Priced very well and great selection, however service was great from some staff but other staff aren't very polite and just place food down without talking and when asked for things just does it without communication.

The escalope wrap was tasty but sauce was more of a sweet and sour instead of sweet chili but that's just personal taste! Next time I'll ask for it without. Great salad though and portion of fries.

I'd come here again, food was also very quick!

The food is pretty tasty and reasonably priced, though not life changing in either regard.

Reason for three stars: there was an error made to my drink order and when the server brought the correct drink back she wordlessly, roughly plonked it on the table and walked off.
