Fantastic place to visit.

There's a cafe and huge shop with selection of products from Dartington and also other brands. Lots of discounted items too.

Can watch someone engraving glass and also a free museum about the history of the company.

The highlight is visiting factory and watching experts making the glass items. Many have been working for 40-50 years. It's really amazing to watch and we'll worth the £10 entry fee.

Only briefly came here and didn't take up the experience of seeing how the glass was made and how items were produced. But I have the knowledge of it. Dartington Glass has a small section of history glass products through the decades and tiny little cinema. There is onsite shop and cafeteria. My favourite part was seeing Master graves who engraved designs onto the glass.

We visited the factory last weekend and did the self-guided factory tour.
Easy to book online..and only £10 each.
Plenty of free parking available the day.
Lovely staff at reception.
Really informative video to start and great display of glassware through the ages (some of it was really nostalgic and left me feeling very old!!).
The factory was so very interesting. We saw several items being made from start to finish. I didn't realise before visiting, that all of the Dartington Crystal Glass items are hand made - amazing. The workers looked so skilled and took so much care, the process was mesmerising to watch.
There were loads of useful notice boards around - very informative.
The shop was absolutely filled with discounted glass..Great for shopping.
An absolutely brilliant place to visit. Highly recommended.

Wow such a lovley atmosphere so nice and staff are wonderful we have had the pleasure of Emmy doing a demonstration I was waiting for my girls to finish glass painting ( 2hrs) I was still waiting nothing was said. Highly recommend since last visit

Great experience, shop and cafe

Get there Monday through Friday before noon to receive buy one get one free entry to the tour and kids go free! Very interesting to see master blowers working their craft.

The shop is huge and had bargains galore in it. Have a look at the "mega discounts" hidden in the back.

Nice cafe with a good range of food. A definite must in the area.

Always pay a visit to Dartington Crystal when staying in the area. There is a visitors centre with an exhibition, glass making demonstration and creative activities. The factory shop has a vast range of perfect and imperfect glassware. There is a gift section and Denby homeware products for sale too. A cafe restaurant, and toilet facilities are also available. There is a large carpark.

Great place! Currently renovating a few areas, which means the tours are self guided and free of charge. The painting studio is brand new and very nice. Last time for starting painting in 3pm however you can stay until 4 - 4:30 to finish and dry your glass painting. Of all the available vessels to paint there is lanterns (picture), short glass, tall glass and wine/gin glass. Each glass is between 6.50£ and 8.50£. Great fun! The staff is extremely lovely!
