Fantastic shopping experience. The in store reps who served me were super friendly, very customer focused as might be expected whilst staying super respectful of responding to the fact that I had done my product research and knew what items I wanted to buy. Great customer experience.

I just want to share my experience from today 25-9-2024 .. I went in to buy a small TV for my spare bedroom and was helped by Troy.. He was not only very professional in his role but a genuinely lovely man too.. He answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. I had a bad experience a few yrs ago here but today has changed that..

The staff were smug and delighted to tell me in an extremely rude way that it was store policy not to accept a return a few days after I bought something and thought the quality was horrible. They said it was working so there was nothing they could do, with big huge grins on their faces. Nasty. I'll never shop here again.

Very aggressive "manager!" Stormed up the stairs and asked if it was me who'd said there were no staff upstairs. I said "no but there aren't." He said he didn't like my attitude and wasn't going to talk to me then stormed back downstairs. Dreadful little man! I did find a lovely assistant downstairs though who sold my friend a TV. Very patient, and carried it to the car for us. He should have been the manager instead of grumpy boots!

Speaking with Troy in Curry’s Chester. Very passionate guy in helping you. Knows his stuff about cameras. So if you looking into cameras being a photographer he’s the go to guy. Even gave us advice about tips on setting up a photography business. Lovely lad great asset to the curry’s branch.

Zero customer service. I literally had to run around the store requesting every staff member to help me out regarding a product i wanted there and how to get it (PS:- It was my first time there so I wasn't sure how to buy it). Then went to a till and requested to send someone ( still no one came). Finally saw someone passing by and finally called him and requested the info about the product i wanted and i wanted to buy one, only to realize that it was out of stock and i had to get one by ordering online. Wasted an hour for nothing. I'll never go back there anymore.

No staff available to discuss a laptop I was interested in..I waited for 20 minutes to be told they didn't have one to look at before ordering.
Without staff, the benefits of a bricks and mortar store are diminished unfortunately.

Fantastic Experience!
Went in in a complete panic as my laptop at home had finally died after 8 years. Asked Ben (The Gaming Expert) for his help as I'd seen a laptop online, but I wasn't certain if it was going to cope with the games I play. He was very chatty and informative, and had a really great customer approach. He found me a new laptop cheaper than the one I had originally found but that was much higher spec and would definitely work for me. Walked out with a excellent new laptop, and would definitely return here if I needed anything else.
