The campsite was well explained on the website and previous reviews so we knew what to expect and on arrival we were delighted that it met the description. Flat pitches, very clean and tidy, quiet.
Well constructed and well thought out facilities, lovely owners. Well stocked blackberry bushes in close proximity. Safe walks for dog. Bird reserve 2min away.

Liked: Great campsite facilities were clean and plentiful.
Lovely and quiet evenings with log fires, lots for the kids to do with their new friends. (Rope swings and hay bails to climb).
Lovely walks.
Would go again.
Didn't want WiFi and we didn't miss it. The kids forgot about Xbox and phones.. Miracle!

Liked: I am a single mum who came to stay for one night with my teenage son. The site was well signposted, welcoming, spacious and the facilities were clean. I really liked the laid-back friendly and eco-ethos of the site.

It was perfect for families with young children and lovely and quiet at night (no music) with the nature reserve just yards away, and a beautiful view of the night sky.

We also enjoyed a hot drinks and pastries from the visiting coffee van on the Saturday morning (also on Sundays, i believe).

My son and I also loved the on-site pizza and being able to have a fire pit, with wood to buy from the little tented shop.

We would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

Liked: Stunning rural idyll, ideal for cloud-watching / star-gazing.
Friendly owner who gave advice on where to pitch which was appreciated when a big party with lots of kids returned later. Smart facilities (though personally I'd think a stretch of fence in front of the toilet doors might be appreciated!) and we were pleased to actually hear a cuckoo in the morning!

Liked: Our family and our dog recently had a very enjoyable stay at the Greener Camping Club - Cuckoo Fen Campsite. On a spacious camping field, actually a meadow decorated with wild flowers, this campsite provided us with the perfect canvas to immerse ourselves in the tranquility of nature.

The carefully designed amenities were a testament to the site's commitment to sustainability. The original and ecologically built facilities, including the toilets, were not only innovative, but also in line with our values of taking care of the environment during our holiday. It was encouraging to see how the site managed to put environmentally friendly practices first without compromising on comfort.

With sincere thanks, Kuipers family from Belgium

Liked: A peacefully friendly atmosphere on a beautiful and well-located site. I camped for a fortnight and greatly appreciated the clean toilets, free firebowls, weekend coffee availability and weekly opportunity to order a pizza cooked on site by the campsite owners. There's a river nearby, and it was ideally situated for trips to nearby towns and cities via the busway (especially good if you've got a bike).
Possibly the best camping experience I've had yet! coming back as soon as possible. Thanks Tim and Emma.

What a lovely spot!

A friendly and super-helpful campsite owner just made it! Simple, relaxed and peaceful site. Composting toilets are clean and well cared for. Excellent showers and a good supply of hot water. Woodfired pizza oven on a Friday evening, little honesty box shop for essentials. Highly recommended if your idea of camping is to switch off and chill out.

It is a great campsite with lots of good walks on the nearby wetlands and the perfect amount of amenities. The toilets and showers are well kept, and the entire campsite is well designed. The town is a 30-minute walk away or a short drive. There are great pubs nearby, and the campsite owner Tim offers canoe hire for some nice beginner friendly paddling on the river, which is a six minute drive away. A barrista sometimes comes on Saturday and Sunday for fresh coffee and pastries. We have been back twice and are still exploring the area. Definitely recommended!
