The rooms have zero sound proof. Every one can hear each other clearly which is zero privacy. There is no fridge in the room and there is no microwave in the entire building which is very disappoiting since we are staying for a long time. The AC is out of service since we've arrived. The house keeping is good to be honest and they are very friendly. The lounge is great with good vibes and they provides free coffee and hot drinks for everyone. The design of the rooms is good.

We weren’t really sure what to expect when booking this hotel but was pleasantly surprised. We came down for the football at MkDons, but couldn’t get a hotel near the ground so chose here and are glad we did!! The conference centre, bar and coffee lounge were very modern and welcoming. The rooms were as said before a little dormy but the bed was comfy (we slept fantastically!) the shower was good and the tea/coffee facilities were just needed. Air con was a bit loud but then again it kept the room cool!!|Fantastic staff who couldn’t do enough for us, especially the young lady that was on reception on the Friday and Saturday evenings, nothing was too much for her!|We even got the bus down from the university to theatre district and then to the game, much cheaper than a taxi!!

Two nights for Reggae Land Festival. Rooms were clean and fairly large. Service was great. Good parking. Approx 15 minute drive to National Bowl as hotel is a fair distance away but this wasn't an issue tbh. If you are booking for Reggae Land Festival in future and taxiing it to National bowl book taxis in advance as it can be difficult getting back if not driving yourself and can be very pricey. You can book parking close to event which I would recommend and then walk a short distance. It's cheaper than taxi and a guaranteed way of getting back. Just means someone has to be designated driver. Would stay here again and recommend.

The Development Centre accommodation suites are somewhere between 3 and 4-star in terms of what they offer. The university is a long way from anywhere else in terms of towns and is situated in the Bedfordshire countryside, reasonably close to the M1. Cranfield village is not much to look at and it's a case of having to bring your own entertainment. Having said that, there is a gym and a small indoor swimming pool, free parking, quite good places to go walking just a ten minute drive away and plenty of places to 'network' if you are in a group, with large garden patios to sit out in, and a good-sized lounge and bar. Staff are friendly and helpful and there is an early check-in of 2:00pm. The rooms themselves are a little dated and surprisingly there are no USB points but the wi-fi is good. Our only complaints were the noisy air-conditioning units- effective, but more like industrial installations and the noise from the corridors. The rooms are designed like student rooms rather than hotel rooms and noise insulation is poor. Expect excitable and slightly tipsy conference attendees late evening/early morning and very early start delegates (who hadn't been socialising the night before) at ridiculously early times when most people wouldn't yet be up. The problem is not the guests, but the design and layout of the accommodation. Most of the academic and engineering types staying there are actually polite and considerate. It makes a great change from a regular mid-range hotel- lots of public space- and the pool and other facilities to use free of charge.

Aircon sounds like having a jet turbine in the room, which woke me up often throughout the night. The sauna is good, but the pool and gym are lacking. Rooms looked new, but quite small and bed was uncomfortable.

The rooms are very small we paid for a room for a couple but it didn't look like that the bed was initially uncomfortable and uncomfortable it was replaced later but still uncomfortable and small for a couple, also the rooms don't have drawers only a small cupboard which is bad for us because we stayed in the hotel for a month and ten days and worse than that they don't provide a fridge we stayed for a month and ten days without a fridge the leftover food we had was unfortunately rotting in addition to spider webs everywhere in the rooms and even the bathroom I don't know if this is spider season or if it is neglect in cleaning but the cleaning ladies are very nice but they threw our food away thinking it was rubbish but it wasn't it was chocolate and biscuits and chips in a transparent bag how can it cost £4 and when we told them about that they didn't compensate us but they were nice well the experience for a month and a week in this hotel was from terrible to nice because there is no fridge and microwave but they provide free coffee at reception which is nice too

If you're visiting the university or nearby and need a hotel this is a pretty decent choice. It's clean, has good service and budget friendly. It is a little out of way for ubers.
