A professionally run cafe serving qyality cakes, snacks and drinks. We have a very good Earl Grey tea with a pistachio bite and chocolate coconut ball. Snacks were full of flavour without too much sugar. Staff were polite and friendly. Location is absolutely wonderful.

Lovely place, we were in the area and wasn't expecting this to be quite such a busy place. Has a lovely large car park, looks like there's some nice walks around. The food was lovely and we were seated quite quickly. I think the younger staff could do with more training, they were polite and happy but they served the food quite slowly, and we had to specifically ask for knives, folks and condiments which took quite awhile to come out after serving the food. From being served the first meal we probably waited at least 5 minutes just to get everything we needed and had to go and find a steak knife which was the last one. We were told there was a cutlery shortage! The shop was good, expected prices for a good farm shop. Overall lovely, and we would go back if we were in the area again.

We love this farm shop and regularly buy the food and their pies here, but the standard has really gone down. Having recently bought the chicken and mushroom pie, which should have been called mushroom and chicken. There was hardly any chicken and it was filled out with masses of mushrooms, in fact too much. Also, It has considerably got smaller. They are definitely cost cutting, but the price is the same! I will not bother buying from here again, so disappointing.

Poor standard of breakfast, considering the price, you would expect freshly cooked food.
My bacon was Not fresh, hard as though it had been kept warm, my egg was hard. My food was not hot, the mushrooms tasted as though they were from the day before.
The sausage was the size of a fun size mars bar. £14.00 ... Not great.

Fantastic, great place. Food was excellent and lovely walks. Stunning ruins. Great place to take your dogs.
We'll definitely be going back again. Strongly recommend going if you got dogs. Don't forget your poo bags. I saw a few couple of people not picking it up. Please don't spoil it for others.

Lovely experience at the farm shop yesterday afternoon. We arrived just after 3pm and were really hungry. We were served by Will who had excellent customer service skills despite his young age. He sensed we were a little disappointed we couldn’t have the mains from the lunch menu as they stop serving these after 3pm. However his charm won us over and he convinced us to say and have a sandwich and a side which he said would be more than enough food and delicious. He was absolutely right. The staff are polite and the setting was beautiful.

It's always a favourite. The farm shop never disappoints for fresh bread and freshly squeezed orange juice, the deli counter and locally sourced produce is a must ! Topped off with beautiful grounds to roam around ( very dog friendly ) a very efficient cafe and dining experience. All in all, 5 star !
