I asked for help for a large family BBQ and they certainly provided! Huge amounts of sausages and the biggest kebabs I have ever seen and more salads than we could eat in one go. I really appreciated the note with all the ingredients too - great for my Mum who has a number of allergies. Delicious, thank you.

Called last week bought various items. Was disappointed in the pork and leek sausage. I commenced cooking the sausage every sausage skin split and the meat spilled out. The sausage did not resemble sausage. Tasted fine but presentation was not good.

Made an effort to make a dinner for the wife as she always says I never cook so decided to come to the farm shop as I’ve always been impressed with the food. However, the frozen chicken and ham pie was disappointing. It was like a watery soup filling, quite salty as I was expecting chunks of chicken and ham as described by the staff. The tomato and rosemary potatoes were like rubber so all in all I was very disappointed with the experience having gone to so much effort to cook a nice dinner for the wife.

A very short walk from the vast car park, all on the level to this hidden gem of a restaurant, Country style Meats farm shop and restaurant and ice cream parlour. Check their website for opening times. Free parking. As it was Sunday, there was a carvery available, as well as other choices. The selection of delicious meats, and perfectly cooked vegetables, plus a Yorkshire pudding and a topping of good gravy was the best carvery ever.
Leafy green views from the restaurant area and a lovely outdoor seating area, led to a relaxing meal. The staff really cared and were chatty. A good price at £13.99. on 19/5/24.
Couldn't manage one of their puddings unfortunately but next time I will visit for tea and cakes. Thank you to all the staff for making our meal special.

On a visit with family from Llwyngwril .. Had a wonderful sunday carvery , So much meat to choose from cooked to perfection.. The staff were outstanding in spite being so busy.. Beautiful shirt our host was wearing made us feel summery .. Well done a great visit had by all Joan

This place used to be good, last two times I've been here not impressed have had two bags of chicken wings that were rotten when opened nearly made me puke with the smell. Won't be back can't afford to pay for rotten meat.

I try and shop once a month or so here as a treat. Everything is very good quality n butchers have a great selection of good quality produce. There's also freezer with ready to cook pastries, fresh fruits like gooseberry n rhubarb etc, vegetables. Good selection of homemade pies in fresh n frozen. It's not cheap but worth treating yourself when you can. Butcher quite often has good value large packs that are worth getting. Staff very pleasant n helpful.
