Lovely oasis of peacefulness and a quiet browse. Lots of decently priced little gems to buy - Christmas/non Christmas. Helen very helpful. Log fires, nice cup of tea and delicious apple/ginger cake went down a treat after treating myself (books) and gifts for the family. Unusual and attractive goods here from produce (veg/fruit), jewellery, hand made crafts, toys, antiques. Too many to give credit to. Just go. Latter day Aladdin's cave. Warm, snug. Just the place to lose oneself and take time out from the very fast (and strange) World we live in now! If you are lucky - some home made soup to warm the cockles. Firmly recommended. My new favourite place. Lovely interesting place with loads of character set in the heart of the historic village. Had coffee and stem ginger cake which was wonderful. Bought books, plants and knick knacks. Lovely lady ❤

Absolutely love this hidden gem . My husband came across country matters by chance .We now make a point of stopping off now when in the area . Veg we have bought is so good and I love browsing the beautiful crockery and beatiful gifts and crafts. I have purchased some beautiful things .

Hidden gem if you like gifts and crafts. Alot of people make the things you will see there and get a cup of tea or coffee slice of cake too. Worth a wander around.
