Poor customer service. I went to the ice cream stand to que for the ice cream the same time someone went to the fudge counter. Fair enough she severed that lady and then the next as they were together. But she then went on to serve everyone in the shop until it was empty before serving me. After she served the second lady I did go over to her incase she hadn't spotted me. I waited over 15 minutes! I would of left but my little girl has a milk allergy and it was the only place that had dairy free ice cream so I just didn't end up buying myself or my husband one from this shop as I wasn't giving them more of my custom given the poor service. I did let her now how upset I was about this but no compassion shown. I told I'd walked all around to find a dairy free ice cream for my upset toddler but no remorse for making me wait. Then charged me £3.50 for a cone when the ice cream was disgusting like it has been there ages it was full of ice and grainy. So after all that upset my little girl couldn't eat this horrible ice cream. We have 3 holiday homes in the lakes so we spend so much time in the lakes and we also make recommendations to our guests but this definitely will be a business we tell people to stay clear of given my experience on Saturday

Whilst the staff were absolutely lovely, I grabbed 5 Rock candys (Jaffa cake, cookie dough, 2 iron bru and blue rasberry), fudge (coffee and clotted cream) and bean boozle jelly beans. I was so excited to try them when I got home, but unfortunately all 5 of the Rock candy were soft and stale. I had paid £2 for them and was honestly very disappointed. I had to throw them out as they were disturbingly soft!

Wonderful confectionery shop, kids got sweets from here and loved the range that was on offer. Customer service was excellent. The lady on the counter was very warm and friendly. Highly recommend popping in.

This a fantastic sweet shop. I got some fudge which is amazing best I’ve tried by far. Although when I went the weather was wet I had an ice cream... these are again amazing a must have if you are near!!
